Ok… My little kittens are getting really antsy, so today I let them go into the other part of the house. Of course, daddy is king over there. I stayed in there with them and daddy seemed really interested in the kittens. I haven’t let him see them too much. I have the 4 kittens who are 5 wks and the 2 kittens who are 4 wks all fathered by the same tom.

The kittens went crazy. It was so funny. And the two most adventurous kittens, Jefferson Jr. (named after his look-a-like father) and Coconut just played and played with their daddy.

He was so loving. Jefferson is normally a loving kitty anyway. He was the biggest of the three cats that we rescued and he took such good care of Butterscotch and Cupcake. He was like a little mommy, so attentive and he is being the same way with his little kittens. It was a an all around good day. the kittens are all tired out and taking a nap.

UPDATE: My little kitten Butternut who I though might have fading kitten syndrome has really turned around in the last couple of days. Come to find out, she is a snacker not a feeder. Everything fell into place once I got that figured out. So I offer her milk every couple of hours and she drinks about 8-12 ml from a little toddler snack cup cover. That is just the right volume so that she doesn’t drown herself. She has gained 1.5 ounces in 4 days, Yay!! And Butternut sat very comfortably in the top perch of our little cat house where it was quiet while her brothers and/or sisters played with daddy.
