In honor of Fall and the talk on the BRRRR thread, this morning we have a fall extravaganza for breakfast. Cinnamon coffee, hot apple cider, hot chocolate. Apple pancakes with hot syrup, crispy thick sliced bacon with peppercorns, savoury country ham. Fried biscuits (don’t knock em till you have tried em) with home made apple butter and real butter, and waiting for later dutch apple pie.

Aaand, I will bring chicory coffee so that we can make some cafe au lait, and maybe some begniets on the side so we can get covered with powdered sugar. My two sweet black cats will come with me, and Ruggles (my big sweet idiot kitty) promises not to roll in the sugar again.

MMMM beignets love them. There is a restaurant near me that serves them with warm chocolate sauce for dipping! Sinful!
