Thanks for the advice, Ppearson, I might just do that. The service over there is always bad, but this morning it seemed much worse.
The guy who appeared to be the manager yelled out to me when I went to the register that I sholud just hol on a minute – well, it was at least 3-4 minutes before he came back – while about 7 employees were there doing nothing. I ordered a coffee for the boss, a soda for mysel and a yogurt – he charged me $1.37! When I try to ask him what’s going on, he waiting on the next customer and tells me to wait. I finally tell him that I didn’t just order a coffee and now have to pay again. Finally someone comes and gives me the coffee, put he never had the additional soda and yogurt printed out, so noone knows to prepare it! Meanwhile he’s yelling back and forth to the people in back on every order because he doesn’t know if they are out of sausages, then biscuits, etc. He continues to get everybody’s orders wrong, and I continue to wait. Another woman who was behind me is now waiting, also. We ended up waiting at least 10 minutes (in my case for a soda cup and a yogurt that they just had to take out of a fridge and give to me). The lady says to me that we would be better off, had we been at the end of the line, as at least 5 other people get their food before us! Grrrrr! Maybe I’m just cranky today and in need of coffee (there’s no way I need coffee enough – ever! – to get it from McDonald’s), but it just seems wrong to me to treat customers like that. I worked at a register once, and sometimes there would be long lines, but at least I would apologize to people for the delay. Geeez!
