    the comfort food menu continues as i am still having pms. tons of bacon, cheese, alcohol, abc’s, fresh fruit, slabs of butter, coffee. unfortunately, i have to restrict my use of caffeine, or i would be a raging, hormornal maniac. i can have some, but not as much as i would like…<pout>

    I’ll bring the lattes, cappucinos, espressos, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, chai, hot tea, and anything else anyone would like to drink that is hot.

    Max and Molly’s Mom–donuts and hot apple cider reminds me of going to the cider mills in Michigan as a kid–great memories! And those hot cinnamon and sugar donuts they served–*swoon*

    K, off the subject of food…just entered a contest for naming a U.S. Customs puppy…I chose Aristotle, figured a great name for a great puppy…had to be a name starting with A…

    Dee-you brought up a memory!! My husband had two little boys by his first marriage and we took them to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan, in the Fall. They had an old fashioned cider press set up and were pressing apples into cider for all to see (and drink). And they were giving out cider to everyone to drink. Now, I’m not sure if this cider was the same stuff that was coming out of this old press, but it looked like it. My husband and I both had a drink, but the boys wouldn’t touch it! They explained “that stuff had worms and everything in it….”

    Pipa’s Mum: Do you like Rabitos (fig bonbons) or are they considered “touristy?” My brother brought them back from Spain and I loved them–have ordered them online a couple times.
