I don’t mean to say can I /make/ my cat like wearing clothes, but today I found the cutest red flannel polo onesie that my nephew had outgrown and put my cat in it, and it seems to have really changed his whole demeanor. Normally he’s pretty skittish, even when it’s just me; if a vehicle goes by outside he’ll freak out and run to the window and make sure they’re not coming here, now he’s sleeping soundly on my lap, even though my brother and his girlfriend are talking in the next room. Is it possible that the onesie makes him feel safer or something? I mean, when he’s scared, I’ll usually hold him and he’ll hug my neck pretty tight so like could it be that the onesie is a hug he can take with him everywhere?

    Hi Charlie,

My gang would not let me dress them. However, your kit may let you do it. I’ve heard of “Thunder Shirts” that wrap the kit and makes them feel safe. Look it up on the net.

Interesting. Now if my Dorry would wear outfits he would have hand-knitted ones for every season. Problem is that I very much need all 10 of my digits intact, which would not be the case if I so much as tried to dress my kit. I do have a teddy bear who is fortunate not to have to go “nekked,” as he has a wardrobe of 4 hand-knit sweaters! 😉

Well I had a bit of an adventure/detour on way to gym. Breaking news:

“Police have blocked off Coolbrook Ave. between Queen Mary Rd. and Isabella St. to intervene after a man barricaded himself in an apartment in the Snowdon neighbourhood.
“This man may have access to a firearm,” said AndrĂ© Leclerc with the Montreal police, adding the man is believed to have suicidal thoughts.
The street is closed to traffic as police intervene.”

Now I thought that I could simply walk under police tape as this blocking off my route was big-time inconvenient and therefore did not apply to KJ. Wrong! Had to circumvent srsly. Not a plan to argue with the police. Turns out stores and local residents were completely evacuated. TV crew on site will prob get more news later. At least seems that no bystanders were harmed.
