I’m so very sorry to hear that BJ was killed; I know how you loved him.

When I was a little girl, my Theodore (yep, another black cat) was killed by a car and I cried for weeks. I still remember him, decades later.

Thanks, Lagatta. I’d only known BJ for about 4-5 months, but he won’t be forgotten. I’m still all over the place right now – and I do apologise for spoiling the Day of Happiness page! Although – he was so full of fun, full of joy and full of life that his presence couldn’t really take away any happiness.

I’m so sorry for the loss of BJ, CWS. He was a special kitty to you, we knew this because of the loving ways you spoke of him. And in that short few months he has certainly burrowed a permanent place in your heart. He will always be remembered here in TDK land as well.

CWS, when you mentioned that day ended horribly, I wondered what had happened, but did not wish to pry. So very, very sorry for your loss. BJ knew months of pure happiness in your company and will always have a furever home in your heart. And no need to apologize, we are here for you – for happy and sad moments. Take good care.

CWS-You didn’t ruin our theme today because BJ was happy to have you, Merlin and Mr. CWS for as long as he did but know I am so sorry. Through you, I found a sweet and loving tuxie and thank for sharing him.

Oh no, this absolutely breaks my heart. I am so very sorry CWS, as losing a beloved is just awful. No two ways about it. He was such a beautiful little guy and full of happiness and sweetness. The world is a better place because of his being here. Hugs and prayers to you and to him.

What kind, caring, compassionate people you all are. BJ was very special, and even after so short a time I could tell many stories about why he became so dear to us. His loss was all the more shocking because it was so abrupt and unexpected. It’s still hard to accept.

He has a place now in our garden, amongst other departed friends, and he will never be forgotten.

CWS I am so sorry for you loss and heartache. BJ was a wonderful kitty and you obviously adored him.
Now he is at the Meadow healthy and happy and waiting the day you are reunited.

He was one of those people you couldn’t miss when he came into the house – he had a personality MUCH bigger than he was! Such a sweet little soul.

I have only good memories of him, and I’m trying very hard to concentrate on that fact. He was never mean or vicious, never aggressive, just loved everyone and wanted us all to be as happy and contented as he was. So there are smiles among the tears.

He wasn’t the first cat we’ve lost over the years – I’ve shared over sixty years with cats, and other animals too. When they grow old or become ill, you know that, however hard it is to face, their time is closing in. But to lose this little one was such a shock . . .

You’re all helping me come to terms with losing BJ, and I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Thank you all.
