Merry Christmas, all. I have set up a special Christmas edition of the TDK CafÃ© today. There’s spiral-sliced honey-glazed ham, maple/ginger bacon, eggs Benedict, winter fruit salad with honey/yogurt dressing, Christmas tree-shaped biscuits, peppermint cocoa, gingerbread coffee, cranberry tea, and mulled hard cider. Who wants eats?

Good morning Vicki, and Merry Christmas! Thank you for getting up early to cook this delicious feast. I will have a little bit of everything. It all sounds too wonderful to leave anything out.

We have opened presents here, and I am going to the ex-husband’s house for Christmas dinner later. What are you doing today?

Ooooooh! Merry Christmas Vicki and Catwoman! I’d love to try some maple/ginger bacon and 2 biscuits please! Definitely a large mug of hard apple cider! Jeff and I are just lounging with the dogs and kitties today. We were hoping for snow today but looks like it won’t make it til tomorrow.

Oh, Vicki, you’ve hit my sweet spot with the eggs benedict–my favorites.

Can’t eat too much because I’m going to my brother’s house and his wife makes such a lot of food that we all take home our “doggy (kitty) bags”. I’ll try not to eat too much, though-don’t want that tummy ache that Miu talked about!

Thanks Jimmie,but,this one is sure to be screwed as well thanks to man/friend. I wasn’t up & awake 2 minutes & he started slamming doors & all. I guess one of the kittens put a hole in his air matress,so at the moment,he has nothing to lay on in there to waste his life away. He’s managing to blame me of course(my cats)when they’re being bad. So here I sit by myself on Christmas morning trying to find one good thing about my stinking life. Sorry guys. I just want the holiday to go away. I hope you all have a nice one. It sounds as if you’ve all got your plans set.

Hey, Susie, us guys here at TDK are a good thing in your life, yes??? Sorry about your “grinch”–does he have a repair kit? Maybe you could surprise him and fix the mattress? That might improve his mood.

Aww Susie, I’m sorry you’re having such a bad time.I don’t like the holidays much either,I do celebrate Christ’s birth but all the comercialism and madness associated with the holiday has made it just excruciating. I just try to visit with family and I watch non holiday shows or listen to music until it’s over. Then it’s January and things get back to “normal” for a while. Prayers and positive thoughts for you Susie and your family. (((((HUGS))))

bhm, KW, vicki, karen, ange, marsha, mmm – really miss you guys. This has been the first opportunity to slip on line.

It’s really beautiful with snow gently falling, and the birds and squirrels eating from the feeders just outside the window.
