Can anyone help,me determine how old this baby is? The vet insist 3to4 weeks old but I don’t think so. They were an emergency vet clinic tho, I can’t get to our regular vet till next week. We found this little one behind the store I work on Monday aug. 14th
No mama cat so I took,it home. Read up on,hand rearing kittens on this very informative forum. I have always had cats but never this young.it is doing well and I think it is a little girl we called it Chance because it got a second chance at life.

I posted a link for you which has a checklist for you to see approximately how old your kitten is. I don’t believe that it is 3 to 4 weeks old by looking at the picture (which is ADORABLE btw!) but not being able to actually examine it, I have no way of knowing exactly how old it is.

I’d say no more than 2 weeks at the most. What a dear wee mite. Does she or he take to the bottle? I’ve never had to save a baby quite that small; others will have advice on making it “go”. I think stroking or wiping the baby pretty much goes without saying…
