    World Cancer Day was February 4th. Please pause a moment and remember all who have been affected by this disease with a prayer for a cure too.

    Well being the day before Valentine’s day it is “Madly in Love with Me” day along with “Clean out Your Computer” day! Today we are nomming on tortini along w/left over peppermint patties from Sat as “Make a Friend” day & plum pudding from Sun. as Lincoln’s Birthday & my bro Rick’s was too!

    Today we are celebrating the first time Mustard was advertised in the US as back in 1758! It is National Gum Drop Day on Single Awareness Day plus Remembering Susan B Anthony Day…enjoy nom on a gumdrop…I always liked the purple ones as spice flavored…nummy mmmemories!

    It is already the 16th & we are passed mid month of Feb! Today is National

    Almond Day as good for your health treat! Do a Grouch a Favor Day by a Random Act of Kindness or a little Flirt for it is both this week! Back in ’33 the 18th Amendment as Prohibition was repealed in the US…so you could pass the grouch on the other bar stool a drinkie poo on you!

    We are still in Random Acts of Kindness Week today. So on Great Backyard Bird Count Day, fill up your bird feeders! When you have finished this “chore” enjoy your cuppa joe for it is Cafe Au Lait Day while you are watching the birdies with your kits! BTW it is also Kosov’s Independence Day today too!

    If you are hungry over the weekend have some Crab Stuffed Flunder on Sat. with anything as Chocolate Mint on Sunday!

    Woo Hoo not only is today Paczki Day it falls during Pancake Week which runs thru the 25th! It is also National Justice for Animal Week which Love your Pet Day was part of on the 20th!

    Woo Hoo it is National Margarita Day!

    Hmm does that mean we can have a Cherry Margarita in honor of George Washington’s birfday?! It is also Be Humble Day on Walk the Dog Day/wasn’t that a song/dance name too?! World Thinking Day is going on also during Brotherhood/Sisterhood Week…enjoy!
