Lol, I thought the cows were really cheeky! Kitty and Lil Girl will get in the same box in a heartbeat ๐Ÿ™‚ The ellies in the mud bath/pool looked so happy, and yes the little Buddhist kitty was relaxed. It is nice for everyone to enjoy the day plus the food/snacks are good ๐Ÿ™‚

Shadz was really only interested in boxes when she was a kitten and teething. She tore an entire box into small pieces and it was tough double walled corrugated cardboard too. Now she prefers to hide in clumps of grass.

No mine are still intrigued with boxes of all sizes and/or shapes, brown paper bags from the grocery store are good too, laundry baskets, the whole let me get into it thing ๐Ÿ™‚ They were window watching the squirrel and the large amount of birds today out on the back patio. The female cardinal is back, I haven’t seen her mate yet.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, birds. When we came out of the cinema this evening it was just getting dark and the sparrows were all sitting in the trees down the city streets and making such a noise. All sorts of odd chirps and cheeps I’ve not heard them make before. We stood and watched them jockey for position on branches and they all had about 10-12 inches between then and the next bird. They hadn’t settled on their favourite branch yet and were flitting from branch to branch but always with the same space between them. Luckily we were sheltered by a shop veranda or we would have been well and truly splattered. It was quite a sight.

Amazing sometimes to watch the birds and other critters, was watching 5 small sparrows dive-bombing a large crow today. The crow must have been too close to their nesting area, they were giving him/her fits in the air.

The birds make a real racket at about 4 a.m. and then again about 5 or 6 p.m. around my house, don’t know what its about but it can be quite the gab fest it seems.

I have watched sparrows here take on a hawk and they are relentless in their attack and harassment for such a small bird.

Yes they are good at the harassment of larger birds, cats and dogs even from what I have seen. Man time is dragging its butt tonight, seems like I have been here for hours & hours and its only 03:22 !!!

It’s 10.30pm here and a comparatively warm night because of the rain. Warm enough for Airy to be tucking into some ice cream. It’s 16.8C and I see you are at 13C.

Mmmmm, ice cream. I just had to have some. Goody goody gumdrops flavour.

Ice cream sounds good, they just cut the cake and I believe I shall get some as long as it isn’t chocolate ๐Ÿ™‚

Sweet dreams, MS. Morning Deb, and happy birthday.

Hot & muggy as all heck here today, yuck. And I can guarantee work will be freezing.

Poor Mr. K has big scratches all over his chest where Georgie launched himself to get away after his antibiotics dose yesterday morning ๐Ÿ™ So now when we do it Mr. K puts on a heavy denim vest backwards so it protects his torso. Silly ungrateful cat.

Had another instance at work yesterday where somebody changed a script after I had factchecked it, and changed it in a way that made it wrong. Guess who got blamed? This is not cool and I’m not going to stand for it. (it’s easier to be assertive when you really don’t care if they fire you).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEB! Miss Millie and Libs send you all the catnip mice your heart could desire.

    Nighty-night, MS, catch you tomorrow.

Morning, Kilroy, you’re right, that is so not cool, you can’t let them blame you for that, that’s ridiculous.

Morning Kilroy and thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh heck no, if they are changing things after you have factchecked it then I would probably say something. Poor Georgie, too bad he hates the antibiotics so bad.

I love to look thru this catalog, almost like looking thru catalogs when I was a child and dreamed of all the things I ‘needed’ ๐Ÿ™‚

Good morning and Happy Birthday, Deb! What a fun online catalog.

Kilroy, you do amazing work. Do you know who “fixed” your script? That person should stand up and take responsibility for editing it in a way that included an error. You really paint a picture with your description of Mr. K having to armor-up to give Georgie his meds. ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy birthday, Deb!!! Hope the cake isn’t chocolate!

Morning KW / haven’t seen you here in a while.

Jcat, come back – how are Libs and little Miss Millie?

Kilroy, sorry Georgie is being so difficult.

I’m finding it hard to get going this morning. Took an allergy pill last night and they tend to knock me out. I don’t like taking them, and wouldn’t if it weren’t for the fact that the allergies bother my asthma.
