If there’s ever a time to show off your IQ test results, this is the day! Though it’s not clear where the tradition started, it invites street-smart youngsters and college grads to speak about the importance of staying in school. Of course, kits are smart and cool.

Good morning! I just caught up on Thurs. and Fri. cafes. Such sad news about Snuggy and KZ’s granddaughter’s classmate…so tragic. Will definitely say a prayer for both situations.

Joan, congrats on the new addition to your family! How wonderful and what a whopping big baby!

We’re going to son’s late morning soccer game, then will run to the zoo for a bit. Son penciled this day in for the zoo a month ago…Florida Gators football bye week so we have some extra time. And we are unable to go on school days this year…too much work on older son’s plate. There is a new variety of flamingo at the zoo that older son, a bird lover, has been dying to go see.

Definite fall nip in the air this morning. That always gets Floridians so excited…everyone is in a good mood!

2 days of solid heavy rain – so very conducive to napping! We’ll see whether my view changes when I am out in the wet tomorrow. *Sigh*

Did very well when in came to English Lit testing. Math/Science very not so much!

Good evening – cats are smart and cool for sure, and make it look good!
Hope you all enjoyed the zoo and the flamingos that son wanted to see, ECB.
Today has been a chilly, windy and rainy day. I went to the hospital early this morning to be with neice. Her hubby had to work, and grandma was minding the shelter tent at the market. Spent most of the day there, and left later after her hubby was there and they were settled in, looking tired. Hopefully they got some rest. I fed Theo and Moe and came home. The hospital does a cool thing for new parents – on their last night there, the nurses take the baby and the parents are treated to a fancy celebration dinner. Neice is really looking forward to some seafood!

I’m turning in now, with wee Livia. The rain let up a bit this afternoon, so I could run a few errands on my bicycle – I do have a raincoat. It has started up again, which is very depressing

Wow, that’s very posh JJ! Sorta like getting the “Royal” treatment. From what I’ve heard, here, except at certain hptls, one gets kicked out ASAP as room is needed for someone else. And one has to bring along baby supplies, diapers, etc.
