Why not be a geologist for the day in celebration of Collect Rocks Day? You can use this day to search for precious and beautiful rocks…or to listen to your fave rock band!
It’s going to be a mild weekend with temps in the 70s. I will get some yard work out of the way. Oops-it’s the 16th not the 15th. 😳

OK, so today so last nite/this am was not as delightful as it might have been. Crud better from coughing/stuffed up standpoint, but guts have been on the outs and quite weakening and not fun. I do realize that I like my bthrm decor! Opted for tea instead of coffee, at least it has some caffeine in it. Will confer with someone on Mon as prob dehydrated too.
Well New Year approaches and in sense feel like I could be in NZ as it’s extremely summer-esque here, like efurrything we missed in summer we’re getting now! Very hot/humid, thankful for A/C and it’s back out with the sandals.
Off to watch another bad yet distracting TV show “Crazy Love” where in this week’s ep, brainy lawyer falls for her pro-bono client and prob they head off on a life of crime as she”couldn’t help herself.” Well, distracting and good to knit by.

It’s another meh day as far as the weather is concerned. Grey cold and windy with the threat of rain anytime the weather gods want.
Yesterday Meegz and I took my Mum out to a pretty wee bay on our harbour that is lined with flowering cherry trees which are full of our native Tui birds feeding until drunk and singing beautifully. Sadly when we got there the cherry trees had finished flowering 😥 but at least the Tui were still there thanks to other trees. We also watched Kingfisher birds diving into the harbour to catch wee fishes. We also visited several antique shops.
ECB, hope your day was fantastic.
JJ, that sucks about the wired keyboard. Hope you find a solution. Have you though of buying a power bank to charge up your phone when you’re out.

KJ, sorry that the crud is really kicking your butt. Sadly we are anything but Summery here, Spring is always a very changeable season for weather, four seasons in one day easily. The nicer weather won’t arrive until late October most likely.
Mr MS working as usual 7 days a week but I have decided that we will have pizza for dinner so it doesn’t feel like just another week day. I have the frozen yeasty bases but need to plan the toppings.KZ, please wish dau a happy birfday from me – still like 15 mins to go – at least in my time zone – sounds like a gr8 par-tay!
MS, but for Jan. New Year it’s like summer in NZ? And for Jewish New Year which is next week we seem to have gone back to summer! This was intent of my “wonderful” analogy!
Poor pup stuck between a rock and a hard place! But invisible rock climbing kit has an amazing “matching buttons” belly – begging for a snorgle!
And now “Time Warp” as earworm – not a bad thing – I did attend a participative purrformance of the film back in the day, in a way old-fashioned movie house and all!
