Oh, I don’t if this is a good day for kits. Dogs you can dress
up and most will tolerate it but kits… Anyway, if you want to unleash the inner diva of your favorite fur baby then get the little guy or gal something to match your finest glad rags – that way you can both dress to impress and really set some trends! I won’t try to dress my gang because they will ouchy feeling me. 😯

    IM FLUFFY TEH SAILOR KAT

IM NURSE AN I FIX U

I’m getting caught up on Grimm and Vikings. Surprisingly enough, Miss Gaea is sleeping between my legs. She took over when Miss Moppet got up. Now MM is on my leg.

Good morning! Cute pics today. That nurse kitty looks like someone is going to get it after the photo shoot.

Did a couple of hours of meat packing for the kits this morning….now getting off my feet for a few. We’re going out to dinner with friends tonight without the kids. Don’t think we’ve ever done that before. They’ve never been to Clarke’s Fish Camp (shared here before) so they’re coming to our ‘hood for that.

Redundancy kitty made me giggle – good words by Coco Chanel too. Not that I’m an impeccable dresser, as I sit here wearing jeans and a flannel shirt.
Leela was not a happy diva when I put her pretty red dress on her, but Comet will be a sport if I put a hat on him.
Have been organizing Christmas stuff. It was already mostly organized, but I’m trying to condense. Easier said than done for someone who has emotional attachments to things.
It’s been snowing most of the day here, and Dewey has been enjoying his shelter in the house! I made an open shelter from a round table outside, putting straw underneath and building the sides up with wood, and there has been a black furry circle in it all afternoon! Sometimes being out in the open isn’t too bad, as long as one can stay dry and sit on something soft and cozy!

TDK white light needed….today I spotted a neighborhood missing cat right in our backyard..she’s shy and indoor per the flyer we had. So I didn’t try to approach her. Called her humans and they came quickly, but she had sauntered down the path to the creek right before they got there. She had to still be in earshot and heard them though. She must be scared not to come out. Now our neighbors next door are having a party complete with dogs so they might not find the cat tonight….but keep your fingers crossed for buttercup. She has very unique coloring, so I’m 99% sure it was her.

Poor kitty must be so frightened. I sure hope she’s reunited with her people when the party dies down.
Have fun at Clarke’s – remember that’s where we are going if I ever get down your way!

Better late than never crossover pic-

Positive Vibes for the indoor kitty now outdoors to be back in her home very soon ECB.

JJ, snow always sound so wonderful to someone who doesn’t live where snow falls. I guess it’s the ‘grass greener on the other side of the fence’ thing. Good Dewey, you stay inside now that you have successfully conquered JJ and got into her house and heart.
🙂 Love the sound of your table shelter JJ, and the black furry circle inside it.
We have a very overcast day here with rain forecast for later this afternoon, it is still very warm though and the fans are still required. Having a lazy day after yesterdays exciting activities and celebrations.

MS, love “2 sub woofers” – wordplay always apurr-eciated chez KJ. Yeah It’s mega-cold, but at least streets are dry so that when I head out tomorrow I can speed walk. Plus I didn’t knit up my mega-warm sweaters (jumpers?) ie Icelandic Lopi, mohair blend, just for show! 😉

What’s the rush JJ? Some houses in n’hood are still fully decked out for Xmas – in some cases lasts ’til mid-Spring! 😉

This is as close as I’d get to dressing up Dorry – just a bit Goth – but will never happen here – as very much apurr-iciate keeping my fingers intact for knitting, etc. 😉

ECB, hope that Miss Buttercup makes her way back to her family.

Was good to stay snug undercovers today with Dorry snoozing on top of bed beside me. 🙂

So good to be in the cafe! I’ve been MIA as yesterday was spend doing pre-admission testing at the hospital for my upcoming surgery. Today was spent recovering from too much manipulating of the hip… 😳 This just can’t happen fast enough now. I want to get this over with and get on with my life instead of sitting on my a$$ watching instead of doing. If anyone needs knees or hips replaced–don’t do what I did and wait this long to get it done!! I plan on being in my garden and flowerbeds enjoying myself come spring–and walking. Yes, walking and walking and walking again. I’ve done all the hard stuff now, so when I go to the hospital now, all I’ll have to do is sleep, then wake up and it will all be over!! Woo hooooo!!!!! Prayers please and healing precious TDK white light for me on the 23rd!!

Love the pics too, but I have never even tried to put clothes on my cats. A long time ago when my girls were small, they could put their doll baby dresses on a couple of kittens we had. The kittens loved it and would sleep in the strollers as the girls pushed them around the yard. So adorable! If I would try that now with my four, there would be the terrible ‘stink eye’, even if I could even get clothes on them! 😆

KJ, thank goodness for dry streets, means you will be staying upright and be speedy. Your Icelandic Lopi and mohair sweaters sound perfect for the weather.
Every tourist place we visited yesterday still had all their Christmas decorations and Christmas trees up which surprised me. Guess they were still channeling that Happy Holidays free spending feeling. Maybe it works with the foreign tourists but it doesn’t with the locals.
No way we could dress Shadz up, she rebels violently at a cat collar although one year we got her to still still briefly with a Santa hat on her head. A couple of seconds or so for us to snap some pics and then a week of stink-eye – well worth the giggles at the time. We were in her bad books lastnight when we arrived home – very late. She as sitting out the front hurling evil looks at us as we walked down the drive. She wouldn’t eat her dinner when she finally came inside and then hogged the bed all night.
This is one thing we did yesterday
http://www.treewalk.co.nz/en_US/gallery/ in the evening and it looked like this http://www.treewalk.co.nz/en_US/redwoods-nightlights/
There were amazing huge lights. http://www.stuff.co.nz/travel/destinations/nz/87907227/rotorua-treewalk-opens-nighttime-walk-illuminated-by-david-trubridge-lights
The forest floor below us was also lit up with amazing but subtle light shows too. I have a fear of swing or foot suspension bridges and there was 23 of them that I had to conquer in the semi dark. There was a lot of adrenaline used up lastnight believe me but I may have conquered that fear.

MS, it really warmed my heart to see either Huey or Louie under the table. I guess as long as it isn’t windy or super cold it’s comfy enough for a (long) nap.
Wow, those bridges are amazing! I’m not sure if I ever walked on one, but I think I might try it if given the opportunity. The lights at night are absolutely beautiful.
I like the proposed-but-will-never-happen bling for Dorry. My kitties have to settle for their blue collars that have stars that glow in the dark on them.
There is sure to be tons of white light and good vibes coming your way, KZ. I know a few people who have had knee/hip replacements and they too wish they had done it sooner. Same with people who have had bunion surgery.
Yeah, I don’t want to put the Christmas stuff away till it’s condensed and organized to my satisfaction. I’ve got my father’s ‘save it because you might need it’ chip in my brain, but I don’t think I really need four non-working strings of lights with the thought of checking fuses or using them for spare bulbs. Toss already! I took the decorations off my silly wreath and put pine cones on it so it has more of a winter look, so I can keep it on my door till spring. The battery operated candles are still in the windows and probably will stay there till the batteries wind down. They go on for six hours each night. I don’t put them upstairs, I buy fresh batteries for them as they may come in handy in case of a power outage during the year. I am amazed at the amount of decorations some folks have, and wonder how they store it. I keep some of my favorite things (with the exception of the tree ornaments, which are all my favorites!), down where I can get at them as soon as I’m ready to decorate each year as my attic isn’t all that accessible so hubby handles anything that goes up there.
Looks like about 3 inches of snow out there. I don’t mind it as long as I don’t have to go anywhere, and I’m in all weekend watching football!

Please let Miss Buttercup get home safely.

Major White Light on hold for your surgery, KZ.

I feel sorry for that chihuahua! If you really want a cheezburger…..

That looks really cool MS. Congrats on tackling the foot bridges.

Am. Football playoffs today and tomorrow-

Atlanta Falcons beat the Seattle Seahawks
On now is Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots.

    The best day is tomorrow!
