Yes, Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day is real! Have you ever had that moment when minor things just sent you over the edge? Maybe dissolving into a puddle of tears or ranting that really doesn’t make sense? These are signs you need this holiday. Or it could be not to care about split milk because the cats will clean it up…cow’s milk, though.

It was a balmy 70f/21c and it’s suppose to around 50f/10c on Caturday. I’m going to have to do something with myself…maybe a walk.

    Just finished The Charnel House…Whoa

    Cya l8r and have a happy~

    Crossover pic –

PG, you couldn’t have hit the nail more accurately on the head. You have described the last month for us. There has been tears and long sleepless nights and even longer days. We are beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. We can only become stronger by this but it has been a very difficult last month and darn we’re too old to be dealing with all this sh1+. HRH Shadz has sensed our anxiety and been very cuddly for us both. Sweet girl has certainly help us cry over spilled milk but the milk is no longer spilled and the tears are dried up.
    😥 🙁 🙂 🙂 🙂

Morning PG and MS! I love kittehs with a milk mustache! LOL

A beautiful sunny day here, I’m headed out to run errands …. Mr. AV and I scored a beautiful find at an antique store on Thurs – a period turn of the (last) century light fixture to hand in the porch gable that Mr. AV and handy Scottie are building. It’s a beautiful piece, hand painted and just the size/shape we were going for …. fits in purrfectly with our 1909 house! … I’m headed to the craft store, I need to work on the metal parts of the fixture, they have an old and faded patina on them right now, but I intend to darken it back to it’s original glory … the amazing thing is that the original hand painted globe (in the shape of a huge tear drop) is in purrfect shape! I’m real excited about it!

    Have a great Caturday all!

Oh my, such great pics – sharing pic, anti-stress pic and the looters put me over the edge!
Sounds like Shadz has been doing her job well, MS. Cats are so sensitive to our emotions, it’s extraordinary. Hope things get better for you.
Nice find on the light, AV! Great when you are able to find just what you are looking for.
Well, I missed out on last night’s eclipse as well as the comet sighting, as it was cloudy and snowy. It’s a cloudy day here in Jersey today, but dry for now. Temps are above freezing so some of the snow is melting.

KJ and stressed – now what would that be like hehehe? As in all too often it’s my reg mode. As in I so relate to kit who is “stressed out over being stressed out!”

Anti-stress formula looks to be a good plan.

Seems to still be quite cold out, but I did sleep away the day. Have 2 projects that I can work on tomorrow, which actually relieves stress in a way as in distracts me.

Tonight plan is to finish latest sweater as in the assembly process (which some knitters loathe) is a major de-stressor for me.

Well “Fig” sweater complete and having a nice soak before it gets it’s turn in drain/spin cycle then set out to completely dry.

On to the next one, another cable sweater in a shade that I wasn’t sure would work, “Mulberry” but that I am now confident will be purrfect, working with grey and beige and brown. And IMHO pinks are pretty, doesn’t show in pic but there is also some “ballerina pink” in it. The one thing about using sock yarn to knit sweaters is that no other sweater like this prob exists. In fact only twice have I used the recommended yarn for a project so guess that all my stuff is unique. 🙂

That’s a nice color combo, KJ.
Contrary to last night, the moon is out – for now. Even with the thin veil of clouds, it’s bright and highlighted by the snow. Louie and Star were happy to see me outside. Star hardly objected to my picking her up and holding her for a few minutes – she’s come so far. Louie was purring up a storm and trying to use my legs as a scratching post. He is probably not happy that I brought the wool blankie in, but it’s supposed to start snowing sometime during the overnight.

We posted Yuki recently and i will try to get some snaps of Duchess as well. Shes weird about my new cellphone…no idea why tho.
