Books and cats are indeed a great combo. I am currently re-reading “The Hitchiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”, and am fortunate to have Leela snoozing next to me.

Loving this thread as yet more opps to find pics!

Just finished “Tattycorum” by Audrey Thomas. Totally fascinating involving Charles Dickens and his times. Better still, main char had black kit she named Orion, or Ori after constellation as kit was great hunter!

These are for you Joan as “Hitchhiker’s Guide” fan:

So we have books and cats…how to create a cat friendly space with books:
    cats on low bookcase
With a view – actually my sis had this set up too!
    Couple cubbies for kits too
    Save Space for purries!
    cat in book case
or they will make their own space! 😉
    literary kits
Noirs lookin’ for place to perch!
    perch above door
Interesting concept…however, wouldn’t put glassware, breakables with books…just in case!
    Convert closet into library:
    literary closet space
    No cat…but creative idea!
    One more…lacking space…
    book case cubes
Kits will find a way to enjoy this new place to perch too!
Enjoy…share your style of keeping books with cats too! 😀

    A Cat Called Cindy
This was my favorite book when I was little. Recently I bought a copy from Amazon, then shortly thereafter found my original, very worn copy with my name scrawled in child handwriting. 🙂
Both copies now rest in the hands of a doll I inherited.

WoofWoof! Kaiser, keep a watch out for Mom! She doesn’t want me to read ” Fifty Shades of Gravy”, so meow loudly when she walks in the door! Woof!

JK, book that goggie and orangie are perusing (purr-using?) can only be improvement on original as book you’ll never find KJ reading – from what I heard about it the premise is not one I’d appreciate LOL.

    Fantastic JK!
Must save this list as literary purrson. Dorian Gray (Dorry) is literary kit as are Button’s Dr. Jekyll and Miss Hyde. Now if I had me a feral (formerly feral that is) kit, I’d be obliged to name him Will Ferrell. Or Pharrell Williams as in that “Happy” song. 😉
