    Swan is quite attached to a blue tractor and has been for years… some of the other videos are cute too, the boxer on the trampoline and the rottie & mallard duck sharing a biscuit

    G’morning everyone, didn’t see a Cafe this morning. The marmalade kitties have the Cafe this morning, they are having the grey tabbies help with bringing food and drinks to the seats/tables, there is a buffet with the tuxies serving this morning. Whatever your heart desires is avail, we have the scottish folds cooking today >^..^<

    About to wake the husband up. We have a busy day! Gotta head back “home” to my grandparents for lunch with my dad, then the opposite direction to ATL for a get together with some friends. This will be the first time the littles have been alone for more than two hours. They are fully weaned now and they have the run of my bedroom. They’ll have plenty of food and water and fresh litter so they should be fine 🙂

    I don’t think it’s possible to give them enough attention. I get bum rushed if I leave for more than five minutes lol. I uploaded some more pictures and gave them their own photobucket album. 🙂

    Good morning, all!

    I went and swam 40 laps this morning, went home and colored my hair and am now relaxing with a cup of coffee while watchingthe French Open. I’m getting periodic text message updates from my swim friend who is at the hospital with her 22 year old son. He had fallen and twisted his back a couple of months back and hurt it, but it had gotten better. This morning, he woke her up cying in agony. They’re at the hospital now and the doctors think he’s fractured his back they were doin a scan and he had a seizure so it’s just going from bad to worse. I’m praying he’ll be alright.

    Other than that, I’m going to relax today. The dog I’m watching and I have invited GG over to go to the dog park later this afternoon and then I want to go check out a German restaurant in a neighboring town.

    Morning GD, hope that your friend’s son will be ok. Going out to the German restaurant sounds good, always up for that 🙂 Yay on swimming the 40 laps!

    Now I just have to get GG moving. He’s the worst at making plans and following through. But maybe with some brats or wienerschnitzel lurking, he’ll get a move on. Ollie seems ready to go to the park right now, but it’s too darn hot in the middle of the day!

    Thanks Deb, I hope he’s alright, too. Haven’t gotten an update in almost an hour and don’t want to keep bothering her for news when she’s caught up at the hospital and worried about her son.

    Good mid-morning everyone!….. just got back from Publix for the BOGO (thanks Dee) shopping trip……. I brought $35 with me, and my bill was $35.55 – not bad, huh?…….

    …. going to make chicken sliders with cilantro/lime mayo, pepper jack cheese and arugula…… baked potatoe wedges, salad and key lime pie for dessert!

    On Memorial Day the flag is displayed at half staff until noon and at full staff from noon to sunset.

    To place the flag at half staff, hoist it to the peak for an instant and lower it to a position half way between the top and bottom of the staff. The flag is to be raised again to the peak for a moment before it is lowered.

    Kit, I love the photos of your round, fuzzy kittens. They look pretty content. 🙂

    Got to spend time with our son yesterday and our daughter and granddaughter the day before. It doesn’t get better than that! 🙂

    Oh, if only! I would deliver it myself! I am so tired of all the rain and storms. My girls are hiding somewhere in the basement behind something. They have become quite skittish since the tornado and a drop of rain even “thinks” of falling from the sky, they take cover!

    Not the best recording but the first I found of the Indy 500 with Seal and Kelly Clarkson singing the National Anthem….

    Awww poor girls, hope they get their confidence back soon.
