    Hello All,

Just updating on Bagheera. She is almost 6 weeks old now. She weighs in at 1 pound 2 ounces. She is growing so quickly. I have had her for almost 4 weeks now and am amazed at how well she is doing. I am starting to figure out her behavioral clues to when she is full, when she wants a little suckle from her bottle, when she has to potty, and when she has had enough attention and wants to go back to her nest and sleep. She is a quick little thing and runs and jumps during play time. She has also figured out where I am at and climbs the chair to my lap when she has had enough of the kids playing with her. She also loves antagonizing my little dog. She so wants to play with her but it makes me very nervous because I am not 100% sure how my dog will react to little Bagheera biting and clawing her. So I keep them separated. But that doesn’t stop Bagheera from trying to chase her and climb up the couch to get to her. She is eating wet food mixed with goat milk 4-5x a day followed by a little bit of a bottle to finish her off her tummy. She is also using the litter box by herself. 🙂 I still stimulate her a little when I know she has to poop but won’t take the time to do it herself because she wants to run off and play. But that is maybe an every other day thing because she poops in her box herself. Also I got the results back from the stool sample, she didn’t have any parasites. Thank Goodness

Awwwwwww, Bagheera is growing up so quickly and so cute. You have been a fantastic ‘Mum’ CS.
Maybe short intervals of closely supervised introduction and play between Bagheera and your little dog will help.

Awww Christina, little Bagheera is adorable and will grow up to be a sleek black panther! You have done a wonderful job being her mommy, and it’s a wonderful feeling isn’t it? There will always be a special bond between you because of it. It’s amazing how they settle in and after the first few scary days of worrying about their health, they get into a routine with feedings/peeing/pooping/sleeping/playing–don’t you wonder what it was like to have ‘free time’? Thanks for the update!
