    Hi everyone,
    Obviously im new here????
Im kind of upset, my neighbors were moving junk around in their backyard and found two newborn kittens. They look to be maybe 3 days old. Well they have dogs and dont care for cats. So instead of leaving them there they brought them to me. I dont have cats but tend to feed the strays that hang around in my yard. Maybe 4 total. Well only one was pregnant, that i know of. She still looks like she is. Anyway i put the two kittens in a large container with a towel and put it close to where they were in neighbors yard but on my side of the fence, hoping the mama would find them. It was late in the evening and i have 3 kids to take care of. So i left them there. This morning i checked them first thing and sadly one passed but the other was all snuggled and warm Under the towel. I dont know if the mama came to feed them or not, i havent seen any. The other cats just smell them and walk away. What should i do? Do i leave it or bring it in? Its not crying. I have nothing to feed it even if i did bring it in. HELP PLEASE!

    Welcome Sarah,

We are the furriest feline site around. It’s kitten season!

We’ve had many inquires on found kittens. Click on the link Recent Activity (at the top) and find the link “3 week old kitten wont stop crying” and “New to fostering, kitten won’t poop.” Both links have a lot for you. Please check in if you have any questions.

If you can, try to buy kitten formula. I would say if you don’t take her in she’ll have the same fate as her sibling. If that’s not something you can do give them to your local vet. They can’t deny a baby. Just explain your situation and your inexperience.
    God luck!

If you absolutely cannot take care of the baby please at least take it to a shelter so it can be cared for properly. Babies cannot keep themselves warm and it will die too if it isn’t taken care of.

Sarah, if you decide to care for the kitten, go to the store and get goat’s milk. It’s better for the kitten than KMR. Make sure you make a nest for your kitten with a heating pad on low wrapped in a towel, and a place for it to crawl off if it gets too hot. I will post links for you in case you decide to care for it.
