April Fools Cafe!

Hey FH –

How about a pop quiz with lots of questions in small print. Bury a question toward the end something like “do you want to take this test? If no, put your pen down; you just got an A!”

Maddie and I shall be leaving in about 10 minutes or so. I get to take her to Little Gym so she can run around for about an hour 🙂 She slept so good and solid last night. I think I have my pookie back. I have to run to Target and Kohl’s too, does anyone need anything?

I’m gonna give them a quiz on following directions–The first direction is to read through the entire test (of course they don’t do this!). Further down it tells them to yell out stupid things, get up and walk in a circle, etc. The last direction is to omit all of the questions and just put your name in the top left corner. . .I think 3/4 of them will fail!!!

Unfortunately Javier seems like a good guy, otherwise I would recommend a good breakup to lose weight – I’ve lost 5 lbs. since Friday – can’t eat a thing – didn’t even finish my coffee yesterday!!!

Speaking of workouts, I just had one with trainer guy at the gym. He got lost picking me up, so we only had time for 40 minutes. Funny, last week we did 50 and I couldn’t wait to be done. Today I didn’t want to stop! I’m glad I chose to go work out with him today despite everything – it felt good. And he even stopped on the way to take me to work to buy me coffee!

So, all I need is a visit from my nephew Clark Tigerson and them I’m going to wait for the coffee to kick in. I slept from ten-thirty til eleven thirty last night and then was awake until three and up at 5:50 – yawn.

Tomorrow I’m training for the job and the girl who’s training me is picking me up at – gasp! – 5:20!!! Arrrrgh! Guess I’d better get used to it!

Argh!!!!

One of those days, Catherine! I have those at the office, too, where nobody is happy about anything. They’d better not pull anything like that today!

I had a way of dealing with that. Usually it was by looking at the offender and telling them to get over it.

I worked at the local paper once and we had a huge blizzard in the mountains that made it too unsafe for our drivers to go up there. We actually had a customer call screaming about their missing paper and when I explained that it was too dangerous for our trucks she said “Well, how am I supposed to get a paper then?”

“Well, I guess if you really want one you could go to the foothill because we did manage to deliver there.”

“Are you crazy!! You expect me to drive out in that!!”

She hung up on me

Instinct, that sounds like the kind of call that makes you say, “Uh…yeah.”

It just reminds me of what my dad use to say: If it weren’t for all the stupid people out there, the rest of us wouldn’t look so smart 🙂

Yep – always listen to Dad!
