couldnt agree more buttons! i have said from the time i first came, this place is the most caring, nurturing, and has the most sane people around. we get zany but always fun. we share laughs, tears, and have a great community thing here. we come from different cultures, backgrounds, religions, etc. and yet we all have respect for each other. i love tdk.

What an awesomely beautiful Anniversary Café! Joan and JK you’ve outdone yourselves – if that’s even possible!I came onsite “officially” in early Oct. 2014. Prior to this didn’t realize there was a site beyond main page, where I would comment on daily kit. One day had prob logging in, realized there was much more to site, Joan helped me log on, the rest is history, and a great deal of fun and companionship with a great group of peeps – and their kits, of course! KM, you rock!

Happy, happy! The ninth anniversary – traditional gift is pottery, modern gift is leather – your choice! Kits always! Thanks again KM for all that you do!!! Moved pics over from earlier thread to join in fun as celebration winds down!

thats right, happy passover! my excuse is i was working. :p n my patient’s daughter presented me with a bag of cold cuts and a loaf of bread…and a thank you note with 10 dollars tucked inside! she thanked me for going out of my way to care for her mother and husband when she was at work. i said it was nothing, they were very kind to me. it’s true. these guys are very sweet, and treat me with respect. i basically just dusted and wiped up a little here and there, but when people are so grateful for that, it really makes my day. lately, i’ve had a lot of of other crap going on, so im glad that these guys were good. my patients insurance wont allow more visits. so i hope my next people will be good too. i get a few good ones, then i get a patch of real nasty ones. so well see. ;p

Oh MS so like seriously nasty weather…!!! Hope your all staying safe … I always say it’s the wind that’s the worst bit of a horrible day like that… Hope you enjoy your get to get her :D….

Nirmal so nice of your patients daughter to acknowledge your hard work.. I know it’s not needed but it’s nice all the same 🙂

@buttons – yeah it is, especially after how i’ve been treated by other patients!

@moon – we had nasty rain yesterday, and my uncle gave me this crappy umbrella that was already broken. i had to go out and get a new one on the way to work. i’m sure it wont last forever, but it’s strong and has double cloth bits on the outside, so let’s hope it’ll last me a few more storms lol

AV, the tail end of the tropical cyclone(hurricane) has passed over now and we can even see stars tonight.
KK and Airy arrived safely after a wild trip through heavy rain, roads awash with water and rising rivers. All calming down now.
HRH is outside hunting making up for having to hunker down earlier.
You keep your feet dry when you get your rains and I hope they aren’t too heavy.
