    Hello there,

I’m raising a 3-4 week old kitten that was thrown away in a friends garden (sad story). He’s already been to the vet and gave a homemade recipe for baby formula and he’s been eating like mad around 10-15ml each feed.
The problem that i’m phasing is that he cries a lot and all the time unless he is sleeping. I understand that he misses his mum about this and i try to give him as much attention as possible.
Then there is the constant suckling. He likes to do that on my fingers and keeps him quiet for a while. Does anyone know where else he can suckle on? Something homemade? This will help me a lot since I also have an older cat to wants some attention too!

    Waiting for your replies!

    Hi Elena,
He may feel more protected if you give him a soft stuffed animal in his nest. He can suckle and snuggle with it. I am going to give you some links to help you with feeding and caring for a new born kitten. They contain EVERYTHING you need to know about caring for a baby kitten. Come back here if you have any problems and we will help you. Good luck!

Elena, PG gave you good advice and great links for you to check into. Try adding a fleece blanket with nubs on it, he will knead the soft fleece and suck on the little nubs.
