Took Lola to the vet today, vet said she had gas and was slightly dehydrated but otherwise seemed fine. He assumed she wasn’t in any pain, and said Lola probably ate something her tummy isn’t agreeing with. He gave me metrondizole for after she eats and famotidine for before she eats. He also gave her a few shots of fluid for her dehydration.
I gave her the medicine, she FINALLY ate, and didn’t puke or poop it out right away.
I gave her the famotidine after as well.
Now, she seems a little tired and isn’t as energetic as before. Shes just sort of sitting around, kind of hunched over. She is walking normal and not falling over or anything but she doesn’t seem to be acting like herself. 🙁
Could the medicine or shot the vet gave her be causing this?
