Love the photo of the ill, elderly lady sharing a hug with a tabby cat.
Cats (and other companion animals) really do help us in many ways.
Moonshadow, that loaf sounds wonderful. Is this a bread loaf, or a loaf bound with something else?
We’re in another thaw. Tomorrow it will go below freezing again, but just normal winter cold, not the…[Read more]
I’m absolute lost and feeling rather hopeless.
Did an enema yesterday and quite an amount of poo came out, which is fine. But I noticed its drinking lesser now.
Today its even worse, in 7 hours it only drank 1/4 oz. It keeps refusing the nipple, but it suckles on my fingers instead. Im just so lost.
It apparently wants to sleep (which is…[Read more]
We’ve all had a relative do that.
Today has been very hot, as the day wore on the humidity did fall but the heat increased and one thermometre in the shade outside read 30C and the coolest room inside was 27C. We are not really used to those temps on a regular basis. Our overnight temp is supposed to be 20C, it’s going to be an…[Read more]
Marnet -waving crazily- great to see you here.
Daughter Airy also drinks what is called Zero Lacto milk here aand loves it. She’s not keen on soy or almond and doesn’t like the taste of coconut milk. To eat cheese or ice cream she doesn’t eat anything with lactose for a few days which allows her to have a wee indugence and if she gets a reaction…[Read more]
Hugging Day encourages you to embrace (no pun intended) hugging, and to give those you care about a comforting squeeze. Câlins, Abbracci, Umarmungen, Abrazos – Hugs are awesome in any language!
Is there anything more wonderful than a kitten hug? I think not!
Have a happy~
Lagatta, there are kosher goat’s milk cheeses here, I just don’t like the saltiness/texture.
AV, sounds like your n’hood knows how to party. Arrrr!
*Waves* to Marnet!
PG, husky pups are adorable! There’s a neat TV car ad about a guy who moves to frozen North and gets a husky team which prefers to staying indoors watching “Littlest Hobo” or go…[Read more]

Hello everyone. Haven’t dropped in here in AGES but it’s just like coming home to a favorite place.
I’m very lactose intolerant yet love drinking milk. So I drink lactose free milk despite the high cost. Don’t like soy or almond milks, am severely allergic to coconut in any form so can’t have coconut milk, and have just never developed a…[Read more]
Katzenjammer, not all goat cheeses are crumbly (which can work well in salads) or oversalted. I’m eating small slices of a Québec goat cheese that has the texture of a Spanish one (La Mancha). But I know that the range of kosher goat and ewe cheeses here is limited. So many kosher cheeses in France! I was staying in the 19th arrondissement with…[Read more]
Our kitten is 6 months old. He’s had diarhhea since we got him from the shelter. We took him to the vet, even though he was negative for coccidia they went ahead and treated him for it, since he had it while at the shelter. They gave him sulfer drugs and metranozole(I think that’s the spelling) he’s been on both meds for 10 Days and he’s no bett…[Read more]
In case someone didn’t see it, we have MSs’ niece and nephew kits as our Daily Kittens.
KJ, I love the expression on the face of that OJ.
I’ve been opening the doors to get a whiff of fresh air. The house gets stale with everything closed up.
You know about the new puppy next door? Well, its really thrown Miss Gaea for a loop. She’s…[Read more]
