I would like you all to give a huge TDK welcome to today’s Star Kit, Patrick. He is an 11 year old DSH from Somerville, Massachusetts.
Patrick (aka Baron von Orangepants) is a friendly feral from my colony who came inside and stayed. He was born outside a block away, but came to live in my yard. I brought him inside at 2yrs. He does one thing I’ve never seen before- when he came inside he started peeing in the toilet and has never stopped!
He enjoys yodeling in empty hallways, sleeping on the bed, his Fortress of Solitude, and other cats purring. Especially his brother Truman’s purr. His left ear is a flat-top from TNR in my colony. It is a way to see if an outdoor feral cat is neutered. Patrick is the best!

Wow! You certainly have some very talented kitties as in “uses the hooman toilet.” Does Mr. Patrick (AKA the Baron) read the newspaper while perched on his throne? 😉

Baron von Orangepants is so handsome. I’m glad he chose you as his purr parents. And he’s quite talented. Being a feral, I can’t imagine where he got his potty lessons! Thank his brothers for accepting Mr. Patrick in the fold.

I think I may have oversold my furry kids. I actually keep the hard to adopt cats. Rogue poopers, FIV pos., etc.
(For example, Patrick pees in the toilet as advertised, but poops on the bathroom floor. I left that part out. The first part is pretty cool though.)

Patrick is incredibly handsome! That’s so funny that he uses the toilet! Not unheard of, I know, but kind of unexpected without training and also being from outside.
He sounds like a great addition to your home and happy to be inside, where there are hallways for yodeling!
I brought in a TNR kitty also. I’d never seen “Mac” around and suspected he was dropped off in the wrong place after neutering. He didn’t seem to fit in with the local ferals, so he came inside!
