Pounce!
Miss Starlight is about 100% female as is the case with lovely tortoiseshell kitties! Perhaps one of the more experienced TDKers on this site can advise you about the poop concerns.
Starlight is one sweet wee Tortie and most definitely a female.
Thank you for looking after her.
Miss Starlight is so precious. I just want to cuddle her!

Almost — but not quite — certainly a female. Probably something like 99.99% chance of being female. Male tortoiseshells and calicos do exist, but they are rare because it requires a genetic abnormality, an extra X chromosome. That means they have XXY instead of the usual XY for males (females are XX or, rarely XXX). XYYs also exist but they would only be red/orange/cream or black/grey (and they may also have some white).
There’s a Wikipedia article that goes into detail about that, at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_coat_genetics#Genes_involved_in_red.2C_black.2C_brown.2C_and_diluted_colors
What a beauty little Starlight is! I love her.
Starlight is so cute! She’s most definitely a she!
