I’d like you all to put your paws together and greet today’s Star Kit, Riley. He is an almost 2 year old Tabby from Oakland Park, Florida.
Riley was rescued from the median of a very busy street and dropped over the wall of a mobile home park for safety. Luckily, someone who knew of my trap, neuter release efforts in the park witnessed it and called me. Since the organization I use to foster kittens I find was filled to capacity, I volunteered to foster the little 6 week old kitten. My husband wasn’t keen on fostering since we already had 4 of our own …Amos and Andy (TDK Aug 24, 2013) and Spenser (TDK Aug 15, 2013) and Maggie Mae (TDK after the other 3, but not sure of date) and of course he was the one who fell head over heels for him!
Riley is a typical “little brother” pestering his older sibs, and making us laugh every day with his twisted positions and antics. We certainly flunked fostering, but we are so glad we did and he definitely lives “the life of Riley”!
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
POUNCE!
So glad you gave this little one a furrever home. Such great markings. Love the spots on his belly. Could rub that all day. From the first photo it looks like he still has room to grow into those ears.
Really & truly you, Riley are our stripey survivor & Star-kit of the Day!
Aw, I love his spotty body! Great job on ADOPTING! I fostered a kitten, but couldn’t ever let him go. May God bless all of us suckers!
Mr. Riley is a cutie with very pronounced markings. He knew his purr papa when he met him. Concats on giving him a furever home with loving sibs. Enjoy many loving, playful times together.
Mr. Riley is soooo cute! I would be tickling each belly spot – endlessly! Glad that your foster fail gave him and your other kitties their furever homes! I too would be a foster fail! 🙂
This little guy needs a belly rub! He does look like a mischief maker!
Riley is adorable – great mix of spots and stripey goodness. Thank you for fostering; I can sure understand why you adopted him!
