Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving Kylan Jr, he is adorable!
Children or not, they still are abusive and they will continue to do so. I hope they learn compassion. I also hope mama is okay.
Wishing you all the best with handsome little Kylan Jr!
Oh, and POUNCE! on Kylan Jr!
This little one is precious! I hope his mama is OK.
Kylan is a handsome, lucky little fellow. Mama’s effort wasn’t in vain, thanks to you. Had my parents found me doing anything to an animal they would have made me hurt even worse.
Some kids just aren’t brought up right, unfortunately. I, too, hope mama found herself some food and shelter somewhere….a home, even, maybe. 🙂
Back in the late 80’s when I was in college, we had a professor with a Ph.D in environmental psychology. He told us that a child’s environmental mindset was pretty much in place by age five. Wouldn’t that include how they view/treat animals in general. When kids are that abusive I do wonder what they are being taught/shown by their parents… Had I been caught doing such a thing to a cat by my family when I was a child, I doubt if I would have lived (slight exaggeration yet not much). Kuddos for saving and loving Kylan Jr. as you did. He surely needed someone to come to his rescue. Such a cute little boy and hopefully a totally inside cat. I used to live in E. Mesa and remember the coyotes. Many happy loving years with Kylan who looks so happy and relaxed in his forever home:)
Thank you for rescuing this kitten. I hope the Mom is OK and those kids realize what an awful thing they did. Not to do the whole nature/nurture thing (I believe it’s a combination) but I do want to believe that people can change. Those kids may not become cat lovers, but I hope they won’t become abusers and learn a bit of empathy.
Wee Kylan, Jr such a darling boy! I can’t thank you enough for giving him a loving, furever home.
I would have been grounded for life. I can’t say what I think of those *&%* brats, rather, I celebrate you and your wonderful meowmy skills. Many happy, playful times ahead.
Thank you for saving Kylan Jr’s life, he’s a gorgeous tuxie. As for those abusive kids, well it’s been said above and if I get started every four-letter word will be used. Makes me so angry, and “just kids” is 100% no excuse.
God bless you for your help. I’m sure you will have many happy memories with Kylan. He looks like a real cuddlier.
Kylan Jr. is adorable! I love his big, white, back footies! You did a great job on raising him and your closeness will only continue to grow.
Children have to be guided and taught about caring for animals. It’s so sad to hear about your story. It breaks my heart. Fortunately, it had a happy ending for you and Kylan.
Oh my, he is adorable!
Sad that his mom was scared off 🙁 that must have been traumatic and heartbreaking for both mother and kitten alike. Yes, children need to be taught that this is wrong. But so glad that this little guy was rescued and has a nice home.
Luv a well-dressed kit w/li’l pink jelly bean toes = Star-kit Kylan Jr! 🙂
