Please meet and greet today’s Star Kit, Douglas Earl Johnny Cash Harris. He is 2 years old from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
My husband and I got married in March and we’d already had an almost one-year-old farm cat that we got as an 8 week old kitten. He got into too much mischief by himself so we decided to get him a sibling. After a lot of looking and playing with all sorts of different cats, we settled on this guy. He was so depressed from living in a cage at the shelter. Even though they took good care of him and gave him friends to play with, he was heart broken. His hair was falling out in patches and he was pretty thin. It’s taken him a long time to warm up to us, but the love and appreciation he shows us on a daily basis was so worth the few months of the cold shoulder from him. He’s now our chubby bunny, his hair is thick, black, and soft, and his little fangs often show when he’s looking at you. He also drools if you scratch him just right! We love our shelter kitty!
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
