I’d like you all to meet our newest Star Kit, Sable. She is 1 week old from San Diego, California.
Sable is a grumpy kit. She learned to hiss at us at just two days old! Now she spends her time whining for the bottle then obstinately refusing to open her mouth for it. Only after her milk needs are satiated will she sit still or be cuddly. She’s a girl who knows what she wants. She is doted on by her big brother Cloud, our very first bottle baby. Betsie, our 7 year old rescue pup also looks out for her. She is very loved.
Sable is truly a miracle baby. She was found nearly two days after her sister, Mabel who we cared for. Sadly Mabel passed away. When we returned to bury Mabel with her sibling, we found two more babies. One was already gone but Sable was alive and well. We named the other two Labelle and Gable after putting them to rest.
Sable is a little fighter and when she gets older she’s going to be the most mischiveous thing you ever did see.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Pounce on Sable!
Sounds like she’s determined to make it, is little Sable…and she looks like she’ll become a pretty thing. For what it’s worth, every young litter I’ve ever seen spits reflexively when anyone/thing but mama comes to their attention. Just born that way. Many happy years with your wonderful family !!!
I hope little Sable does well. She’s very pretty and seems to be a tough little thing!
I’m in LOVE with everything about Sable! From her beauty to her diva personality!!! So happy you have each other!
Sassy little Sable! She’s going to be a beauty when she grows up. 🙂
Squeee!!!!!
TDKers have been hearing all about wee Miss Sable over the past weeks. Concats on her being Sunday’s Star Kit!
I’m happy wee Sable is getting along so well. Yes, she definitely has her own ‘tude!
She is a real cutie too. Enjoy many more loving, playful times together.
Sable is so cute, and very much the fighter. She’s off to a great start – best of luck with her.
She is going to be a beautiful cat, and it sounds like you have a diva in the making!
