Please put your paws together and welcome today’s Star Kit, Warrior. She is 10 day old Tortoiseshell from Istanbul, Turkey.
Warrior was found by kids stuck in the fences. They saved him and he was brought to our home to be cared of. There was no real info if mom abandoned him or not, but the poor little baby was all by himself so that is where we stepped in to save him. We said if this baby survives all the tribulations he had to go through to be a survivor as a hand reared kitten, his name will be Warrior, as the true fighter that he is.
At the time we thought Warrior was a boy, but doing some research later and it seems she is a baby girl. We love her all the same. Rightly so she is a girl, as she’s a very loud girl. She’s developing a bit of a temper of tortie’s already. She’s stubborn and determined when she wants her milk, it has to be her way, so no one can argue with her here. Milk it is then.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Pounce!
Yes, of course she is a Warrior princess, not prince, as almost all three-colour cats (torties, calicos etc) are female. She is wonderful and I’m glad she is so vociferous and seems to be such a fighter, as often kittens found so tiny don’t make it. You seem to be doing a splendid job with her.
I’d love to see a photo of her when she is a bit older!
Warrior Princess! She would be a lovely mascot for Breast Cancer Society. Thank you for taking such great care of her. .. I wish we could watch her grow up ..
ha i didnt think of it, but now that you say it, that’s sweet and you’re right =)
well, ill be posting her progress in my gallery, so you’re welcome to stop by =)
yes I know when she came she was about 2 days old and we knew it’ll be a tough job, hence the name. and yes, I figured later that these cats are mostly females and yes, turns out shes calico not tortie, but theyre so similar anyway.
Thank you. Ill be posting her progress in my gallery here on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/calicothewarriorprincess so youre welcome to stop by.
