POUNCE!
I would get sweet Snowball to the vet, pronto. She is an adorable baby. The vet should be able to tell if she has a problem and help you get her through it.
Aw – SOS for Snowball – she needs TLC Fast: Check out :

Yes, get her to the vet’s immediately. She’s worth it. By the way, your photo is blurry, but she seems to have Siamese points on her ears and tail. She might well be part Siamese; those are wonderful cats.
I agree with Lagatta . . . Snowball may be a perfect mix. Hope the vet can assist you so the little gal can eat and grow up to be healthy. Thank you for saving her.
To the vet, pronto, I concur. All new additions if unknown should ideally get vetted
before introducing to the rest of the family.
When all’s going well, I found that a dropper of formula was helpful to get a small
kitten started. In fact my last, the Firkin cat, was so used to latching onto the dropper
he wouldn’t have a kitten bottle. so that’s what we did. 🙂 Good luck with the beautiful little Snowball, she’s a keeper!
Good idea, and I would make sure it is a plastic dropper so no breakable parts.
She sounds about right for her stage. The advice is good, but to add to it, you need to learn how to “poop” her (same as stimulating her to pee)… and it will probably be a couple of weeks before she’ll start going on her own. Also massage her down regularly – kittens need their organs stimulated just as a momma cat will lick them rather hard (for cats – on their abdomen). I hope that Snowball makes it for you! (We had a Snowball that looked just like that when he was tiny – he grew up into a huge (16 pounds – no fat) beautiful masked cat with dark ears and tail and was a real snuggler – his fur had three different shades – white, light gray, and charcoal).
Bottle babies are the best!
Wee Snowbell looks a cutie. Thanks for rescuing her. Do get her to the vet. so they can get both of you on the right track.
Snowball looks like a wee seal point Siamese with developing coloring.
Best wishes for both of you.
Terrific advice as always from fellow TDKers. Snowball is a sweetie and hope that you get vet’s advice and that all goes well. Thank you for rescuing this pretty Southern Miss!
She does look like she’s Siamese. I think she should be seen by a vet, too. I hope she grows up to be a happy, healthy cat. Good luck!
Absolutely to a vet! Even if she were acting healthy, you still need to be sure shes worm-free and doesn’t have FIV, etc.
To those who said “Siamese”: Siamese are not the only colorpoint cats; that’s just one gene that causes this special case of partial albinism. They’re born white or very light and over time, the coldest parts of their body develop color while the warmest parts stay light. The color can be red or black, or dilute red (cream/ginger) or dilute black (grey). Wikipedia has a good article on feline coloration (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_coat_genetics) and also an article on point coloration in cats and other animals (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_coloration).
Best of luck with this beautiful little kitten. A visit to the vet would be the best thing to do. I love white cats although most of my cats are colors other than white!
Snowball s a cutie! Yes, please have her checked by a vet.
Also go to http://www.messybeast.com, there is helpful hints on caring for tiny babies.
I have taken her to vet. The vet said she was doing great and gave her something to help her poop. Snowball is now about 3 1/2 weeks to 4 weeks old and she follows me everywhere lol. She is even playing around and eating better. Thank you all for the great info and god bless you all
