It’s time to give a huge paws up to today’s Star Kit, Bear. She is a 7 month old Domestic Shorthair from Washington, DC.

I adopted Bear on October 12, 2014 and she has lit up my life everyday since. She was sick with a stubborn upper respiratory infection when I first took her home, but after several rounds of antibiotics, she’s as good as new!

This playful beast loves to cuddle, time on her back with her belly exposed, and long daytime naps. She also loves people and is most social animal I’ve ever seen! Her favorite things include cuddling, chasing around the laser pointer, drooling next to her mom’s head on the pillow, hiding in her kitten house, and the toy mice that the veterinarian gave her.

In just over four months, she has gone from 2.75lbs to over 7.5lbs of pure fury. Never has there been such a loving animal in the world.
