I’d like you all to meet today’s Star Kit, Nova. She is an 8 week old rescue from a SPCA shelter.
Nova was found in alone in a box in a dumpster and brought back to the SPCA at a few weeks old. My roommate and I wanted a pet because our apartment was lonely and when we got to the shelter she was curled up alone in the corner while the other cats picked on her. We took her home right then and loved her, even though she has a limp back leg.

What a wonder of nature is Miss Nova! How anyone could … dumpster … don’t get me started! A floofy buff-coloured beauty who looks to have some Maine Coon in her background! Plus kitties make a great cure for loneliness and I would hope that her limp back leg doesn’t cause her discomfort, it’s for sure no barrier to her being your little love bug!

Wee Miss Nova is adorable! So glad she was rescued from such a bad place – kittens are not garbage. Seems she needs you as much as you need her. She looks so happy being out of the cage where she won’t be picked on any more.
