Pounce on Miss Jamie!
Miss Jamie is a gorgeous Meezer who knew exactly where her furever home would be…she just had to wait a little bit. I’m so glad your resident Callie is accepting her. Calicos are known for their “tudes” :). Concats and many loving times for all.
Happy ending to a purry tale! Yay, Jamie you have found your forever home with sibling callie!
Concats for you are our FL Star-kit today at TDK!
Miss Jamie is beautiful. Thanks for taking her in and giving her a furever home.
Jamie is just gorgeous. I love her coloring and facial markings. Thank goodness for the cold snap. Must have been the Universe, arranging it’s own adoption exchange!
Jamie is a blue eyed beauty . I’m so glad she is safe and that her calico sister likes her.
🙂
Miss Jamie, you beautiful Sunshine State meezer – you’ve certainly brightened up my day!
Such a pretty Lynx point Siamese. So glad you two found each other and that Jamie has an accepting big sister:)
What a sweet kitty! Meowzers!! I can’t decide if I am more in love with Jamie, or Lucy!
Wow, Jamie is beautiful! She has lovely features and her fur looks incredibly soft and silky!
She’s a beautiful cat! I’m glad you and your calico decided to take her in!
I had a lousy week. I lost Boo Boo last Sunday. She started out feral and then became semi-domesticated. She would come into my house to eat and for petting. On Sunday she came in with her left hind leg swinging, bearing no weight. It was obvious it was broken. It took me all day to catch her – scruff her and put her into a carrier. I took her to an emergency vet and it was the best option to euthanize her. She was in severe pain and had a compound fracture. It is hypothesized that she was just brushed by a passing car. There was not a lot of blood and her leg was not smashed. Saving her would have required amputation. That did not seem like a good option since she was an exclusively outdoor cat (the little nut would hide somewhere during a severe rain and thunder storm rather than come inside where it was safe, warm and dry).
The vet anesthesized her, called me in and allowed me to hold her while she died. I cried.
Someone said something very comforting. I live on the second floor of an apartment complex. My friend noted that Boo Boo trusted and loved me so much that she was willing to climb the stairs with a broken leg just to be with me.
I have mentioned the Rainbow Bridge before, not giving it much thought. I think about it a lot now – the idea of her made whole and playing, waiting for me if there is anything on the other side of death. She was an adult, but very small.
Sorry for the ridiculously long post, but if anyone would understand it would be you. By the way, I have to other feral to take care of: Mrs. Puss-Puss, Boo Boo’s mother, and Puff, Ms, Puss’ kitten from a litter following Boo Boo’s.
Thank you very much.
