Today we have brother and sister Star Kits, Bronwen and Dyfi. They are 2 year old Domestic Longhairs from Gloucestershire, England.
We adopted Bronwen (Welsh for ‘white breast’),the queen, and Dyfi (Welsh for ‘dark’), the tom, from a friend who was having chemo treatment for cancer when her cat got pregnant before they had got her sterilised. We had just moved somewhere where the landlord said we could keep pets (YAY!!) and so we welcomed Bron and Dyf with open arms. When Dyfi wants attention he goes onto his hind legs and begs like a dog! When Bronwen wants attention she does a prat fall very near you and miaows insistently!
They both ‘ask nicely’ for their treats by gently tapping my finger. Dyfi is the brains of the duo and very quickly works out little puzzles especially when there is a chance of finding a treat at the end of it! Bronwen just sits and watches him in awe! These pics of them are from when they were littlies, but they’ve grown into great big fluffy moggies now. We love Bron and Dyf :O).
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.

Her Royal Highness Bronwen and Royal Brother Dyfi are the cutest tuxie duo I’ve seen in a long time! I love prat falls because they always work on me. Thanks for reaching out and giving this pair a loving, playful furever home.
A beautiful pair of fluffies! I’m glad that they have each other to get into mischief ! 🙂
That’s a lovely story of your sweet fur kids. They definitely have loads of purrsonality!
My girl, Gabby, also does the “prat fall” (though I never knew what to call it) and meows insistently, too. Must be a girly thing.
What beautiful floofy black and white kitties are Bronwyn and Dyfi, definitely Welsh Royalty! Hope that friend you adopted them from is doing well!
Cute pair, great story about the duo.
Isn’t it great being owned by a cat? 🙂
