Today we have Noodle, she is a 7 month old Domestic Shorthair from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I found Noodle at a Petland store just by chance one day. Being extremely against the profit, greed and overall neglect of animals in pet stores, I vowed never to purchase one from one but rescue. I learned this kitten was born in a rescue shelter along with two other sisters. We were told the kitten was a boy and realized that he was very sick. I saw this kitten and knew we belonged together.
The pet store gave me no more information about this kitten. No details about shots or vaccines or illnesses but I didn’t care. We went home together as soon as we could. After taking Noodle to the vet, we found out that he had a pretty bad upper respiratory infection and infection in his eyes. We also learned that he was a she!! Even after all the neglect this cat suffered, she is still so loving and playful and loves to be around people. She is a fantastic cat.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Pounce on Noodle!
Noodle the calico boy kitty…. The pet shop should have known better. In one year I adopted two “he’s” that went from being named “Stinky” (awful name) to Ca’mio and “Cupid” to Cupie when their femininity was verified. A veterinarian made one of the calls (I now have a different vet for other reasons mainly). Back to Noodle and you. Bless you for saving this precious girl and making her all well again. What a wonderful friend you now have as a result. Give her a hug for me and some tuna:)
Thank you for the multiple photos as I love seeing several pictures of a kitty. Future kitten submitters take note to send at least 3 photos please.
I see you FUZZ
Tough as Steel (City) FUZZ
love the name ‘Noodle’ ……. orangies and calies do tend to be noodlie …… all floppy and lovey fuzz balls!
What a sweetie!
Canoodle with Noodle! She is a cutie and quite photogenic. Thanks for giving Miss Noodle a loving and fur ever family and home. Happy Caterday!
I’m glad you rescued her from that place. Any place that sells a Calico as a male really doesn’t know what it’s doing. 1 in 3000 Callie/Torties are male and sterile.
I agree with only rescuing cats and this kitten needed rescuing. Thanks for taking care of her and for the multiple photos. The way she loves to be around people and curls up in sinks is a testament to how much you love and care for her. Thank you for sharing.
She is lovely. Male calicos are rarities indeed. I assume she has recovered from her health problems? Have a good life together, she is so sweet.
i agree i am against buying from a pet store myself, altho i did get one of my late babes from one. she was all alone n pulled at my heart. soemtimes u cant help but do it lol
Noodle is beautiful! So glad you rescued her – you are destined to be together!
Hope that you have oodles of fun with your Noodle girl! What a sweetie, and so in-sync (sink LOL) with her new furrever home.
Noodle is beautiful. I’m glad you are caring for her.
Canoodle with Noodle is my favorite post above! That’s just too cute and so accurate as to what you should do. I am very glad that you found each other and that Noodle is thriving. I like the three pics too. I wish Noodle nothing but love, health, and happiness going forward. Best!
lol what a lazy cat! xD
Furry purry comfort cat as Noodle our PA Star-kit of the day at TDK!
God bless you for rescuing this cat even if it was from a pet store. BAD PET STORE. GOOD owner! Beautiful kitty.
