This is Skittle. He was found in a parking lot, crying and with a very bad cold. He picked the right person to cry to, and I got a call. He appeared to be only about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks old and weighed less than ten ounces, but a vet said based on his teeth he was about four weeks old, just too thin. After a couple of days he was failing and the head of our rescue discovered he was very flea-bitten – a small blood transfusion and a good bath fixed him up and he began to gain weight quickly. At ten weeks he finally made that two pound milestone and was adopted into a great home. This kitten has charm and we hope he has a great life.
