Hi, my name is Smokey and I was featured with my sister, Misha, on TDK on 9/23/11 and 10/12/11. We are not kittens any more and haven’t been for quite some time, I am 10 now and not so interested in my two little sisters who are now 1 year old. They want to play all the time and it just takes a lot out of an old guy like me. Anyway, Mom said you might like to see me as an adult cat. Have a great day!

What makes a cat a Russian Blue? Smokey has beautiful gray fur and that regal shaped head. *smiling* at “bop on the head” for annoying little sisters. A wonderful weekend to you, Smokey! But then, when you’re retired, every day is a weekend…:)

Thank you for all the great comments. Smokey does bop the kittens on the head once in a while. Sometimes they play a little too rough and foo close and he will give them a swipe with a paw! He isn’t a Russian Blue according to his vet, but he and his sister, Misha, have the coloring.
Russian Blue cats have blue skin (a light silvery grey).

Smokey is adorable. The older resident cats sure do have to be tolerant with the new kids. I think they actually like them, but have to let them know who’s BOSS.
