This is Scout. She was the Daily Kitten on August 16th 2012. In that picture I was told that I should tell more about her. She was a rescued from our local shelter. Our old cat was my dad’s pet and since the divorce he lives in an apartment building that didn’t allow cats so we kept his. So one day he called and said that the rules changed and that he could have pets at his home again. He got his pet back and we go this little kitten. In this picture she is about 6 years old. She likes to in the middle of the night bring us little “presents.” She goes into my yearn basket and brings me up yarn balls in the middle of the night. And then goes down and gets more. She will sometimes bring them up on my bed set it down by my face and meow and nudge my face with her head while meowing u ntil I wake up and pet her. Or shove her off the bed whatever comes first at that time of night. Here she is caught in action one night with her and her ball of yarn. She is a great cat and we love her very much we are so glad that she picked us out at the shelter.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Pounce!
She is a great little hunter! At our house right now it is Cats – 1; Birds – 3; Lizards – 1
Pretty girl. How cute that she brings you yarn balls. Maybe she wants you to knit her some mittens! 🙂
how nice to see Scout all grown up! What a lovely kitty and what a sweet purrsonality…it’s not many cats that bring gifts of yarn at night. How cute is that? Please give her cuddles and treats from me
🙂
Scout is precious. I’ve never heard of a cat bringing yarn to someone either. Very cute. My cats do it with their toys. So maybe About wants to play? Or maybe she does want you to make her something. Thanks for the update. All the best to Scout.
Cute!! Love the idea of bring yarn balls. I knew a cat that use to play fetch with balls of newspaper but this is a really fun game…for her!!! Many happy years together!!
What a cute picture!
Scout was a very cute kitten and has grown into a beautiful cat. Thank you for the update. It’s always fun to see how the kitties grow up. I had to keep my yarn in a hiding place because my cat wanted to eat it. ^ ^
Love Miss Scout with the yarn balls! She’s grown into quite a gorgeous lady. Many happy times ahead.
I love seeing Scout’s young adult picture, she is very pretty! How nice that she brings you presents, she is very considerate and cares about you very much. She must be very happy with herself for picking you out at the shelter.
Wishing you much happiness!
So cute! One of my girls constantly wakes me up in the night too but I don’t get presents LOL just claws in my scalp if I don’t get up and get her a midnight snack.
p.s. she has filled out nicely & looks very happy with her yarn! I have a feeling that some Scout fur finds its way into your knitting projects.
It is so sweet that she brings you presents at night! She must love you very much. How lucky for your family and for Scout that you found each other.
What a hunter! No yarn is safe! 🙂
Scout looks busted haa ha
Oh and I luv the before and after pics, what a change in her coat, still a beauty!
Gorgeous Scout our beauty-patootie with purrfect tude the Star-kit today at TDK!
It’s great to see how Scout has grown! Very pretty girl. Thank you so much for adopting & for giving her a loving home.
My furkids & I wish you & your furkid many happy, healthy years! =^..^=
We have always joked about that. She always brings up yearn and other things that we have that are knitted and we joke saying maybe she wants us to knit her something.
Ok I will definitely do that. Yeah I am just glad that she isn’t an outdoor cat because if she was who knows what she would bring us.
Thanks!!!!!
Thanks you and your cat as well
I wish my Scout could do that but that is all she does except for making sure she keeps her little kitty sister inline that is.
thanks
If I put my cat hat on, I believe Scout thinks that the big balls of yarn may be your “toy balls.” How sweet that she brings them to you for your comfort and play!
