My cat Alice was born on September 20 2010. My mom brought Alice home to me two days before Halloween and Alice was my Halloween pressent. I fell in love with Alice as soon as I saw her, she was a fluffy little black fur ball and she was so adorable. My mom met with us at my nanny’s house and that is were she gave me Alice. As soon as we got home from my nanny’s house Alice jumped out of my hands and started to climb the walls and that was when me and my mom realized that she loved the house and us. About two days after I got Alice she was sleeping with me and playing catch with me. I got Alice a little laser toy and we started playing with it Alice was the best I love her right now Alice is one year and six weeks old she is the best cat ever and I love her so much. I will always love and protect Alice, I will never let her go. Alice is an indoor cat and she has a good personality and it will never change I love Alice.

Pounce!
What a beautiful kitty Miss Alice is! A purrfect way to head into the weekend. How wonderful that you found each other to love!
What a sweet story and beautiful kitten. Perhaps you need to bring Alice a nice tuna roll from Kelly’s!!
Alice is just beautiful. I wish she lived at my house!
Go ask Alice. She’s beautiful! What a fun little furball you have there. Wishing you many happy years together!
A beautiful and sweet kitty.
Make sure she is fixed and doesn’t have kittens, because the personality of some kitties DO change when that happens. One of our kitties went from sweet to hissy, demanding (gets mad if we don’t let her get in our face), and very foul tempered. She’s finally starting to lighten up a bit – 4 years later – but still growls at us on occasion and hisses at the other kitties (including her own daughters).
(She was a good mama, but growled and snarled at them when her babies were born. Also, at the time we couldn’t afford to take her to get fixed, and our county had just done away -temporarily- with low-cost spay and neuter – so no harsh comments please.)
I can see why you love Alice so much. She is so cute! I’m glad she got such a good home.
How appropriate, getting a black cat on Halloween. I see why you love Alice, she’s a cutie. I’ve had two black kitties and they were both wonderful cats. Alice is a lucky kitty to be in your loving home. I wish you and Alice many happy years together. ^ ^
Alice is an adorable ball of fluff! What a darling girl and I bet she loves you every bit as much as you love her. May you and Alice have many happy warm fuzzies times together.
Go Ask Alice FUZZ
The FUZZ are coming, the FUZZ are coming!
Lalala…you don’t need anything more for Alice is the one you adore…(humming to Alice’s Restaurant.)Alice you are a gorgeous black beauty patootie and our TGIF Star-kit today at TDK!
what a sweet, sweet, SWEET little kitten she was! What a great gift from mum, a real little Halloween treat. Although it sounds like she had a few tricks up her wee furry sleeves with that wall climbing when she got home! Smooches and cuddles to her 🙂
Oh how I love this story! Your mum got you a great present in the form of a furry best friend. You are taking such good care of Alice by keeping her indoors ALWAYS. Too many bad things can happen to poor kitties that are allowed to be outside never mind how much they want to go out. Many happy years cuddling with Alice and being best friends.
Arcalien: I love your comment, “The fuzz is coming, the fuzz is coming”. I wish some fuzz like this would come my way.
Have a happy weekend TDK’ers!
♡ Friends fur-ever! ♡
Wow sounds like Alice is a lucky lucky girl and with wonderful mamma! She is a beauty too!
Cute, cute, cute. What a sweet kitty and a very cute story. Glad you love Alice so much. I feel the same way about my kitty. Always thought of getting another kitty for her to play with but I think maybe she would be jealous. Her spot is on the bed keeping my feet warm and…where would the new kitty sleep? She always watches hockey and football with my on our chair and blanket and what would the new kitty do? I think it is just better if she knows she is my one special kitty.
Aw. Alice got a great home, and you got a great companion! I hope Alice lives for a really long time.
And Alice loves you!
Such a cutie!!
Your kitty’s story made me smile…thanks and enjoy your sweet kitten. Alice is adorable♥♥
Alice is beautiful! I love black cats, they are good luck! 🙂
Now why does the song Alice’s Restaurant come to mind? I dunno. One pwetty kitty! 🙂

The FUZZ are coming!!
What a cutie!!
What a wonderfully fluffy bedmate! Looks like she is waiting for you to join her!
Alice is beautiful and what a darling letter! Yay!
Although I check out the DK regularly, I don’t often comment; however, this is one of the sweetest posts ever! Alice is an adorable kitty and you are taking excellent care of her! I got my first cat when I was 5 years old and he was with me until I was 25…he had a good, long life! Now, 20 years later, I still have wonderful memories of him. I hope that Alice has many happy and healthy years with you!
What a beautiful kitty with such a pretty name!
Wait a minute, I think maybe you LOVE Alice! (How did I ever figure that out?) I’m so happy you have this lovely little girl. Always remember that you are her very special person and she will need your love, even when you are much older. She’ll grow up with you and be a huge part of your memories.
