Penelope found her way into our lives after being found in a car engine by a coworker. We had lost a beloved cat, Cleo, a few months earlier and had decided earlier that week that we were ready to start looking for a kitten. Penelope has brought so much joy into our lives. She loves to play with her feather toy and her older sisters.

So, do my eyes decieve me? or is little Penelope sitting on a plant? I used to live in Madison, and I had a cat (Woopie) who would sit in the Jade planter by the window. Only, she wasn’t a kitten, so she would set her butt in the planter, and her front paws on the table top. Not doing anything in the dirt – or even biting the plant. It was just in her way when she wanted to look out the window, so she sat on it. I soon decided that it is easier to let her have her way — and that space for looking out the window. I hope you enjoy many happy years with Penelope. And you may as well give up now, and let her run the house – at least, the parts in front of the windows.
