Location: Los Angeles, California, USA
Lila was born in late June of 2010 to a feral cat in a dumpster in a local mini-mall. Fortunately an employee at one of the stores heard her crying, and rescues her and one other kitten, the only survivors of the litter. I just happened to be in the store at the time, so I consulted my wife and we adopted her the next day. The vet said she was between two and three weeks old at the time. We have a lot of pictures of her growing up, including a coup0le from the first day. But this one was taken when she was about a month old.
