My family was toying with the idea of adding a third cat to our house when I couldn’t resist taking a look at the classified ads. I noticed an ad for kittens needing a good home. The details led me to believe these might be older kittens. We had good experiences adopting older kittens before so I was curious about the story behind the ad.
The phone number led me to a woman who had founded a cat rescue in a town three hours away from us. She told me about three orange tabbies she had rescued and was fostering in her home. I told her we still weren’t sure about adding a third cat and that I was hesitant to drive three hours to meet a kitten. (After all, there were probably plenty of local cats needing a home.) She said, “Let me e-mail you some photos.”
Well, this photo (taken at four months) and her description of his sweet personality inspired us to make the drive to meet Leo. We took him home with us that day. His playful personality brought the fun level to the max in a home that already had two “teenage” kittens. He keeps us laughing and never lets us forget that he requires lots of playtime and snuggles.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
