I had to have my Companion Kitty put to sleep the day I left for the Philippines, due to kidney failure – I was heartbroken. My girlfriend and I were walking home, after a very heavy rain storm and heard a faint meow in a vacant lot along the street. We looked around and found LC in tall grass by a bush – she was all wet and shivering – she just fit in my hand. We looked around to see if she belonged to anyone in the area, no claims were made so we brought her home.
We estimated she was six weeks old, from her size. She was very scared, wet and hungry – I dried her as best as I could with my t-shirt, she fell asleep in my hand as we walked home.
LC is a bundle of energy and keeps us alert to her presence, as she hides and pounces when we walk by. She is also great at keeping the frog population down. She has filled the void in my life and is such a joy to have.

I’m so sorry about the loss of your other kitty. It seems like LC found you at just the right time, they do have a knack for doing that.
LC is precious and I hope she has a long, wonderful life with you!
Well if Meowzers isn’t going to POUNCE, I am!
Adorable!
God gives us kittens.
My condolences on the loss of your kitty, how very sad it is to lose a furry friend. How wonderful though, to have little LC come into your life! It’s like kittens just know who the best cat people are. Thank you for taking her in and caring for her, man you enjoy many happy years together 🙂
LC looks like a bundle of joy! Lots o snuggles!
Gorgeous!! What nice big ears!! My cats keep the lizard population down, here in AZ.
However, they completely destroy my house going after moths. Bye bye lamps…………
She is a beauty! I’m glad she is safe with you! 🙂
LC is so pretty – an angel just for you. She thinks you are an angel for saving her too! So sorry for the loss of your kitty. We never forget them; our hearts grow bigger to love more.
Nothing better than a cat for taking care of the bad varmints who might wander into our homes.
It looks like LC will outgrow that jalousie window perch soon.
Pocket sized portable FUZZ
FUZZ likes frog legs
I’m so sorry for the loss of your kitty but what a lucky day for both you and LC when she came into your life!
I’m sorry about your companion kitty. Mine has a tumor and we don’t know yet if it can be removed or not. I’m glad LC came along at the right time and you rescued her. She sounds like she’s very happy with you. I wish you a long life together.
I am so sorry about the loss of your cat. And I am so glad that you are able to love another kitty. I bet your cat in heaven is smiling down on you all.
LC has not discovered the lizards here as of yet, but at last count it was LC 3 frogs 0.
LC is adorable! You have fulfilled each others need, LC needed a home, and you needed a cat.
There are no accidents, the Universe heard both of you. Enjoy each other for a long time!
Hop, hop, hop…LC as little cutie huntress keeping those froggies on the run! You sure are a bundle of sweet stripey stuff as our luvin’ Star-kit of the day at TDK!
My dad loved frog legs, so LC must have acquired the same taste. I’m so very happy you discovered and saved her. The Universe brought you two to the exact right place at the exact right time. It was meant!
What a sweet story, LC looks like she will help mend your heart!
The ingenuity with which they manage to insert themselves into seemingly impossible spaces is amazing. Good thing you found her!
Somehow, the heavens know when we need a little critter in our lives.
