I heard this little girl crying outside my apartment building one night. Her tail was injured and she had a small injury to her face. I took her in, fed her and gave her a good bath. Four days later she had an emergency surgery to amputate her little tail (she also got spayed in the process). She is now a happy and very energetic little girl with a stump for a tail. When she is fully recovered and a little bigger, she will be free to play with her awaiting big brother cat, Milo!

This little kitty has an amazingly beautiful face – and it looks like she had something very tasty. Would love to scratch her little chin.

Well, she may have had her tail amputated, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with her tongue! Very spirited-looking kitten she is. I’m glad you got her spayed.
Tippy is lovely, I love her pretty smokey grey and white face! And those paws look eminently squishable. Kudos to you for taking her in, and taking such good care of her. May you have many happy years together 🙂

AAAAAAAAh! Tippy, don’t fret! Pretty soon you will be just as naughty as my precious kitty, Calico.
Her tail was damage and had to be removed and she does not seem to care. She gets into just as much kitty trouble as she would if she had a tail.
It does cause kitties to be a little off balanced when doing kitty jumping, etc but she is okay after 7 years has gone by.

Aw Tippy, you are too cute for words. My daughter has rescued two kitties without tails and they are just fine. (Both were damaged-they were abandoned and something big and scary must have attacked them)
