Jetta
Location: Wairarapa, New Zealand
Jetta is one of four kittens (Joshie, Jarod and Jasmine) and their mum, Juliet, who I’m fostering for the Wairarapa SPCA until they’re a little older. Jetta was born on a very nice woman’s doorstep six weeks ago today. She loves sitting on my lap at the computer and supervising my work, she chirrups when she’s happy and her little black nose gleams like patent leather. She will make some lucky person a very lovely cat.

OMG – what an absolutely adorable kitten Jetta is!!!! She looks exactly like my Willow did at that age. I wish that I could adopt her!!!!!

I am so proud of her. I gave her a special cuddle when I told her and she licked my fingers and enthusiastically accepted a tummy rub, so I think she is pleased too. The J-mob are now all lolling around on the spare bed in the sunshine, thoughtfully munching on a sibling’s ear or tail when the fancy takes them.

Jetta is precious, as is her tuxie brother Jarod. Are they all black kittens? Is mum Juliet black as well? (I adore black cats, and my Renzo is exactly half-way between Jetta and Jarod in colouring, sleek short black fur with just a bit of white). If Jetta and Jarod didn’t live on the other side of the world, I’d adopt them gladly. Hope they have a happy Austral summer, mummy Juliet too.

Jetta is a wondrous little fur ball. I’d be sorely tempted to keep all the “J” cats! When my daughter fostered a black kitten that she absolutely refused to part with, I fell in love! Now I love all black kittens.
