What a sweetheart! Those eyes say it all…
Kitten,
you have big sharp ears.
You can hear the stirring of small creatures
in their burrows deep underground,
you can hear the cadenced footfalls of
marching ants,
and the whispers of clouds, and raindrops
that have yet to hit the ground.
Curled on my chest,
surely you can hear my heart.
Can you hear my heart, kitten?
Can you hear how much I love you?
Alex, did you write that poem? It’s wonderful!
yes, thanks….inspired by a kitten on my chest, of course!
first post wow what a cutie
Sounds like little Tommie has been through too much tramma for any cat and I also hope all goes well with his new forever family
Tommy. You are such a sweet boy. I hope you enjoy your new family
well there was no one else when i started. i love those huge eyes. too cute (:
Aww…sweet baby! i wanna kiss the “M” on that forehead!
I had a Tommy that was a tiger too! But my Tommy came to me when he was all grown up, so I never got to see him as a cute adorable kitten like this Tommy. My Tommy crossed the Rainbow Bridge about a year ago. Blessings to this new little Tommy!
I love you see people adopt shelter kitties…all they ask for is love and give back ten fold. Give him a big hug from a Mom of two shelter kitties.
Oh those eyes! I am hypnotized! Must kiss the kitty! I hope he goes to his forever home soon and hypnotizes them to do his bidding.
What a sweet boy! I’m so glad he’s found a good forever home.
now – who can’t love that little face??!! What is with those cute little paws crossed over – looking all angelic. I wish Tommy the best in his life!!
I’m under Tommy’s spell! Almost speechless. Almost! What a beautiful little sweetheart. Hope God has blessed him with a home where he will be adored forever.
How Adorable!!! Tommy is the cutest!! A little survivor!!
~ j
I hope that I will be able to come back as a kitten as cute as Tommy…things are not well. T
Tommy is gunning for a safe and happy life, I know it!
ROCK OPERA FUZZ
Such a beautiful, courageous little tiger!!!
He’s adorable! His “M” on his forehead is the best!
He looks like a mischief making sweetheart! 🙂
BTW.. Thomas.. we should all be lucky enough to come back as kittens.. hang in there.
what a cutie…………seems to be saying-just give me a chance. I’m a good little boy.
Is it time for dinner yet? Adorable fuzz.
Look at that squishable paw!!
That has to be the sweetest kitten-face I’ve ever seen! Hope you’ve found your forever home, Tommy!
What a sweet face that little kitty has. Almost as if he’s asking you “won’t you come and lay down with me and pet me and let me cuddle with you?” I would take him home!
This is really funny….
*Hamlet’s Cat’s Soliloquy*
To go outside, and there perchance to stay
Or to remain within; that is the question:
Whether ’tis better for a cat to suffer
The cuffs and buffets of inclement weather
That Nature rains on those who roam abroad,
Or take a nap upon a scrap of carpet,
And so by dozing melt the solid hours
That clog the clock’s bright gears with sullen time
And stall the dinner bell.
To sit, to stare outdoors,
And by a stare to seem to state
A wish to venture forth without delay,
Then when the portal’s opened up,
To stand as if transfixed by doubt.
To prowl; to sleep;
To choose not knowing when we may once more
Our readmittance gain:
Aye, there’s the hairball;
For if a paw were shaped to turn a knob,
Or work a lock or slip a window-catch,
And going out and coming in were made
As simple as the breaking of a bowl,
What cat would bear the household’s petty plagues,
The cook’s well-practiced kicks, the butler’s broom,
The infant’s careless pokes, the tickled ears,
The trampled tail,
And all the daily shocks that fur is heir to,
When, of his own free will,
He might his exodus or entrance make
With a mere mitten?
Who would spaniels fear,
Or strays trespassing from a neighbor’s yard,
But that the dread of our unheeded cries
And scratches at a barricaded door
No claw can open up, dispels our nerve
And makes us rather bear our humans’ faults
Than run away to unguessed miseries?
Thus caution doth make house cats of us all;
And thus the bristling hair of resolution
Is softened up with the pale brush of thought,
And since our choices hinge on weighty things,
We pause upon the threshold of decision.

Tommy was adopted the other day; oddly by another family that fosters kitties. This one was exceptionally hard for me to give up. He adopted me when my wife and daughter brought him home. His “place to be” was on my chest, usually nuzzling me under the chin to get some petting.
He was also known as the demon cat. He was so ferocious when he played. And he looked exceptionally evil while facing down cats ten times his size.
A very lovable fellow.
I wish he was mine. What a sweet looking little guy!
Great story about a six pound drug-sniffing chihuahua at the following link….

Is that about Midge? I read that this morning.
Yes! I think she’s adorable! And that part about her having goggles to ride on her owner’s motorcycle! Precious!
I was laughing out loud at that – not the wisest thing to do at 6 in the morning on a bus full of sleepy people on their way to work. Midget rules!!
What a handsome young man!!! I hope his new family takes especially extra good care of this little fellow!
Has anyone heard about this barbaric mass dog-slaughter in China?? Outrageous! I am SO boycotting anything made in China! The story is at the following link.
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/14139027/
Dee,
That’s abhorrent and I had not heard about it on the main news. I lived in HK and China for many years before returning to the states and had to get use to the many “pets” that were eaten. But this is simply intolerable!!
Agreed! Why isn’t the media grabbing on to this? I am a news junkie, and this is the first I’ve heard of this. And people having their dogs snatched from them on the street? This is the stuff of nightmares!!
Yes, this looks terrible. The gov’t in China is so messed-up; they don’t know how to deal with anything.
That’s horrible. It brought tears to my eyes.
*Sad yet cute FUZZ*
Barely only months and already so Photogenic!
Wait a second, that is all natural cuteness!!!
Tommy looks like he could almost be Timmy’s brother, although Tommy is more on the dark side. He sure has a sweet face. Mark it’s to bad you couldn’t have kept him. Hope he has a good forever home now.
*PINBALL WIZARD FUZZ*
Good-looking cat!
Oh! Such an adorable and innocent little face! We would just love to pick up this little baby and give him a big, gentle hug and kiss. May the Lord bless and protect you and Tommy always. 🙂
What an eye catching face! Beautiful markings. Those of a king! Tommy is a very distinguished looking young kitty. I hope he will be very happy in his new home. Those ears are just absorbing all the wonderful comments being made about him. He’s a keeper!
“See me, feel me, touch me, pet me….NO, I said pet me- who gave you permission to stop?” ROGER DALTRY-FUZZ

This is kind of cute….
