He reminds me of Sylvester the cat who likes to chase Tweety bird. ๐
Hehe. Tyson looks to be a handful for sure. You can see it all over his face. Troublemaker to the core. ๐ I like it when kitties jump on you and fall asleep. Usually do it when they are facing you so you can see their sleepy faces. ๐
What a beautiful kittien! I love the stripes! He even looks comfy being held like that! What a great little personality!
Tyson is so cute. You are all right he does look like a troublemaker. He can fall asleep with me any time.
Crazy Fuzz
Tyson is one bundle of cute. Thanks for sharing him with us.
Chicken Finger Fuzz
I’m not sure why, but this kitten cracked me up! What an expressive face.
He has that look, you all know the one where there is a hair up his furry hinny and is running around like a maniac …..My kitten Louis this morning attacked and entire roll of paper towels ๐ I am still in the process of getting up all the little bits………..
Brandi—that is so funny. My 8 month old kitten did the same thing—-I left a brand new roll of paper towels on the kitchen counter (too lazy to put in the dispenser) and when I came home she had ripped it to shreds all over the dining room floor—it looked like it had been snowing! And, she was doing that weird bicycle thing to the remaining few on the roll!I thought cats were supposed to be less destructive than dogs!
Dee,
Not so I have followed and entire roll of TP down und the stairs, around the corner, thru the kitchen and into the family room LOL , We have entire rooms closed off and lots and lots of cat toys for them now,,,,,Oh thier fav is to get into the cabinets LOL We call them out furry brats LOL
KittyKat Friends,
I used to keep catnip in a lidded ceramic jar on my china buffet and one night when the X and I came home from work…we walked in and on the kitchen floor there was catnip EVERYWHERE… and I mean EVERYWHERE. My cat Muffins (I just know it was her -a very smart little she-devil) knocked the lid off of the container plopped “the stash” onto the floor…the funniest part, you could make out “rollover marks” in the catnip where she had just rolled and rolled and rolled…a very happy girl indeed!!! ๐
Tyson is adorable! Fuzz Packers, Danielle’s Jake is sick and she needs our support. Grace & Company send out “meows” to both Danielle & Jake!
I’m looking for a cat that will lick me a lot. Does this cat do a lot of licking?
If this is good James, My Oscar thinks he’s a dog and licks CONSTANTLY! If this is Evil James, back off! OScar may lick but our neighbors dog just ATTACKS!
This isn’t good James, methinks. It’s too…uhm…odd.
I’m starting to think it’s the Kittenmaster…monitoring the site, sure, than why havent the sickening comments been deleted from Monday?
I’m done with this site…
Which sickening comments? I will delete any I consider innappropriate, but some of James’ contributions are not offensive. Weird, maybe… but that’s OK.
Kittenmaster, I think the comment I am going to paste here is the one that emilyrose was talking about….I would have just ignored it, but I guess there are still sensative people in the world…
Thanks Kathy. I’ve deleted it.
Emilyrose—-I think that long post Monday was made by Good James. According to the Kittenmaster, he’s from the UK, and in that post he spelled realize with an “s” instead of a “z”—a notable difference between Brits and Americans. I just think he got carried away with his story. I REALLY wish Good James would preface his posts with which James he was!
Dee…I DID notice the anglo version of “realize”, I’ve been an Anglophile from ages past, one of my best friends is from Kent, and I have a book called “Britishisms”. Between Sharon, the book, Travelling to Britain and writing the Embassy in regards to immigrating as an expatriot, I truly apologise to James, as I LOVE the English and wish I were one! James from the UK shouldn’t have to explain or prove where he’s from, but on a Bad Day, as I’ve been havng Today, to see this ongoing debate hashing out again is taxing to the one nerve I have left. It is distracting from the DAILY KITTEN, TYSON, who SHOULD be the center of attention! He is a beautiful kitten and looks like he’s destined to be a “mushmoggie” when grown. Again, my apologies to all who took offense to my comment, especially British James and The Kittenmaster.
No need to apologise. I’m happy you’re here.
I love spotted kitty tummies! My Shadow has spots on her belly, too.
Love those beautiful eyes. He is a little lion at heart! Fierce Fuzz
this cat is verry cute
This is how all DK pics should be presented.
Belly forwards makes it easier to asses its rub-abilty.
Get ready for the tear-jerker of the day. I’m sure a lot of you have read this before, but maybe it will be new to the younger visitors.
*The Rainbow Bridge*
(author unknown)
Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies, one who has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends where they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone who was very special to them, someone they had to leave behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The eyes are bright and intent, the eager little body begins to quiver all over! Suddenly that lucky one breaks away from the group, and flies over the green grass, little legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands once again caress that beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together. . . .
So that’s what the “RAINBOW BRIDGE” means. I was wondering what that meant since I was on a blog and it looked like my died kitten. I’ll see him not so soon (I hope… LOL!!) But anyway… I’ll see him!!
Thank you Dee from Tampa!!
Dee that was a great story. I was wondering how to get a copy of it. I’ve heard ya’ll talking on here about men who loves cats. I was married for 23 yrs & our cat population ranged from two to I think the highest was 10. Not including our two dogs. After all those years with her I think I miss the animals more than her. It was nothing for us to take in strays & place them in homes, which included putting them on airplanes & flying them to their new owners. Unfortunately where I live now I’m not allowed to have animals. But that’s another story. One of my things I do in life is talk to people at bad points in their lives & help them move on. I thought that story would be a great one to add to my collection to ease people’s pain.
Chester
Chester—that was very moving. And, yes, it’s me who starts up the conversations of men who love animals almost always make better boyfriends/husbands. And what you just posted is further proof. But, I think that’s ESPECIALLY true with men who love cats—-I think it’s because cats can be complex, just like a lot of women! Did you read the article I posted a few days ago—“A Dog Man Gets a Cat?” Great story.
I hope you join us here more often!
Chester it was so good to see a man talk about animals like that, because I also think a man that loves animals makes a better husband or boyfriend. I am so sorry that you can’t have at least one animal where you are. I have had an animal in my life throughout my whole life, and I am up there, and I wonder if I could live without one. Actually, I was thinking about that this morning. Anyway, you at least see all the cuties on this site and some of the others listed here.
Chester, I noticed no one gave you the website for Rainbow Bridge. It’s a really neat site and you should be able to get a copy of the poem there. The web address is: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com
Whoops! Sorry about that—was blathering on so much, I forgot. Thanks, Emma’s Kat!
Chester, please check out this other site too. katscatoftheday.blogspot.com or look for a comment made my Emma’s Cat and click on her link. It a site for adult cats but there are some great people who would love to talk to you!
I want to thank you too, Chester, for your kindness and honesty with humans and animals. Perhaps where you are living you might be able to have smaller animals or a parakeet? I can even vouch for the quality of companionship from a betta fish (“Siamese fighting fish”). These little guys have so much personality! Mine follows me in his bowl around the living room and acts really happy to see me. I’ve had cats and bunnies, too. I’ve gotten much joy from my little bettas.
Also, as for men and animals–you only have to browse on a Singles website to see how many men advertise themselves as “loves animals.” But that’s for another reason…
http://catsandmusic.blogspot.com/
Anyone in the Houston area… if you can take in another loving kitty, give Grace a try. She (and two more babies) need a home! Read more about her at the link above!!!!
Damn you Dee!!!! I have enough to cry about with Jakey being sick and you made me cry all over again!!!! I had just stopped!!! LOL
Thanks you Bagherra’s Servant for mentioning Grace & for keeping her & her babies on your website. You are such a great person! Meows from Grace & Company. Jake is in our prayers!
Sorry, Bagheera! But it was a “good” cry, right?
LOL, I guess so, but the way things are going today, I don’t think there’s any good cries for now. BTW, I forgot to mention that I had read the Rainbow Bridge before, so it’s not like I didn’t know what was coming my way, I was just not smart enough to avert my eyes! LOL Also, that’s cute about the dogs- I wonder if Debra did that on purpose? Anyhow, I’m gone for the day-everything is too depressing today…
Tyson looks full of mischief! he’s a sweetie.
Love those “buttons “on his tummy!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwh!! Tyson looks like my sister’s kitten, Gobbles. He’s gonna be a heartbreaker when he’s older!! JK
*MOVE ALONG MOVE ALONG I’M JUST A CUTE FUZZ!!* LOL!!

This kitty looks like he’s about to address a board meeting. He needs the help of the Owner’s Hands to bring him up to eye level. “Gentlemen, it has come to my attention…”
CEO FUZZ
AWWWWWWWWW! that is the cutest kitten ever! oh i wish i had a kitten just like that! affectionate kittens like that are hard to find.. ohh so cute! ๐
Am I the only one who has been having problems posting?? I’ll post an item and it will say “comment successfully added”, but when I come back to the site—it’s gone!! confused……
I love stripes and spots together! I bet they’re holding him for this picture because they couldn’t get one otherwise – he looks like he probably isn’t ever still for very long. Cute!!
I’m not the slightest NASCAR fan, but I was just reading an article on Greg Biffle—how his foundation just gave 4 shelters in New Orleans $40,000. I think I want to marry him and have his children!! There is a “Pets of NASCAR calendar” for sale at HSUS.ORG—proceeds go to shelters.
Oh—Bagheera—Greg Biffle’s two dogs are named Foster and Grace—2 of the orange kittens names on your site—what a coincidence, eh?
Dee, know what else NASCAR does? They have opened a camp for disabled and terminally ill kids. It has everything the other camps do and THEN some! I’m not a NASCAR fan but my husband is. I saw a commercial during a race one time and checked out the camp. It was amazing!!!! If we didn’t live so far away, I’d send my son! I’m so proud of what NASCAR does and gives back!!!
Kim—that’s great! So, is your husband an official “NASCAR dad??”
NO, thank goodness! He’s a fan when the races are on, and really wants to take the boys to Talladega when they’re older. But that’s it. He doesn’t have memorabelia everywhere! Now our neighbor, boy is he ever an official “NASCAR dad!” If our son ever goes to their camp, he probably will become one! HAHA!
A while back, Animal Planet ran a special on ‘Animals of Nascar’. Elliott Sadler has 30 dogs! He’s very cool! So why isn’t he winning this year? Anyway, of all the drivers profiled, Matt Kenseth was the only one who was a cat person.
Kim1 The place is called The Victory Junction gang. It was started by Kyle Petty in memory of his late son Adam who was killed while testing his car. It receives a lot of support from all the racers & other sources involved in racing. So for non racing fans, the drivers do a lot more than drive around in circles. Professional athletes give a lot back to their communities than the average person knows. Nascar has the reputation for being the easiest group of stars to acquire autographs from. I’m a fan & have been in a racing family for years. But not a fanatic like some. I spend my days helping people in much different ways. I have been involved in childrens charities for years & even founded some. So the next time you hear someone say something about cry baby athletes go on the web & lookup their personal page & you might be amazed at what you find. I look forward to my Daily Kitten & miss not being allowed to have one of my own.
Hi Chester! I know that atheletes give a lot of time and to charities. I’ve just known NASCAR to be the most fan friendly. I am related, distantly, to a race car driver. OK, sorry if I get this wrong. His name is Darryl Gwynn. My Uncle is a huge fan and actually got to spend time with him. But I still give my husband a hard time, jokingly, about being into NASCAR. Like I said, I’m so in awe of what they do. I have a 6yr old son with Spina Bifida and so finding things out there for him can be hard. When I read about the Victory Junction Gang, I was so excited. We live in Arkansas and so the camp is a little far for us. He is going to his first camp this year in Little Rock. They follow a lot of the same premis as VJG.
I’m glad you commented on this site!
I forgot to say thank you for being so involved with children’s charities. They are so important and so are the people who give their time and energy. No one knows that more than the parents and the kids they serve!
Ditto, Chester!
Chester—you’re not allowed any type of pet?? birds or pocket pets, either?
…….Tyson La Louche…………………………………….
*TOTALSEXTABBY*
Decadence in a fur suit……..
I love Tyson’s expectant little face. Kittens are the best mood enhancers ever!
omg toooooooooo cute! love how he lets you hold him like that.
Here’s the live cam link to the eaglets nest in Victoria, BC—they are getting so chubby!

If you cut and paste the following link, it will take you to the HSUS gift website for some really funny Father’s Day gifts!

Dee from Tampa, I think you have to go off site then come back to it then you can fine the comment posted
At least that is what I have to do when I am any of the other cat or dog web sites when making comments.
I am a NASCAR fan and I know a lot of the drivers have their own charity that they are interested in. Many of them support Victory Junction along with their other charity. I will have to check out that calendar that was mentioned. Really a good cause that it goes to.
Well, Little Tyson, have to say you are a real cutie. I think that expressive look says, “do you really have to pose me this way?” “It is a little embarrising?” I am sorry, but I don’t think you look like Sylvester of the tweety bird fame at all.
Here’s the other NASCAR fan checking in!! Ryan Newman and his wife also support numerous (mostly dog related) charities, as do many other drivers. Last year, during a loooong rain delay, the pit reporters started going into the drivers’ motor coaches, and meeting all the dogs!! I usually go find something else to do during a delay–I can only stomach so many driver interviews in one session! This one I watched all the way through.
Kyle and Pattie Petty’s Victory Junction is affiliated with Paul Newman’s Hole In The Wall Gang Camps. The Pettys, the other drivers and a lot of NASCAR’s sponsors have done an incredible job with the Camp, and I am very proud to be a contributor as well.
KIM, if your man decides to take “the boys” to Talledaga, I’d be glad to carry the coolers and the scanners!!
DEE-you’ll have to get in line for Biffle–there is his long time girlfriend, and there are lots of us out here as well wishing and hoping.
I love his little fuzzy belly! I would rub his tummy and in between his little furry toes!
*Put me down! FUZZ*
KM, have I offended? I’ve posted several times and they have been removed. Apologies if I have offended anyone. I love this site! Actually, I have decided that Pete & Foster should be adopted together, since they are so strongly bonded. I won’t be moving until late July and I need forever homes for them before that. So, officially, only Brutus & Marigold have forever homes. Still working on the others
Deb—that’s what I was referring to in post # 22! confusing!
Hi Dee. You are right, it is very confusing. KM, what is going on? Get well wishes go out to Jake and Amber (Caspar’s mom’s doggie). Hey, I know he is a dog, but he is a cat loving dog!
I will only delete comments if I think they’re offensive, or if they’re drawing attention to offennsive comments – this kind of reaction is exactly what the offensive posters want. If you don’t like a comment, ignore it – I’ll get round to deleting it if appropriate.
Kittenmaster—so, did we offend with our comments, or was there just a system problem?
I think it’s very unlikely you offended – it’s much more likely to be a system issue.
Whew, that’s a relief—I could not figure out how my goofy joke could have offended anyone. Thanks, Kittenmaster.
I am a man and I love cats and don’t care who
knows it. I have had two Cocker Spaniel dogs and
when the last one died, I did not believe that I
could ever go through the grief again and would
never have another pet. I now have two
Siamese cats in order to save them from death,
and I would not take one million dollars for either
one of them. I have never seen an ugly cat; to
me they are all beautiful. I hope you noticed
the pretty prominent M on Tyson’s forehead.
If one cannot say something nice about theDailyKitten, I wish that he/she would just not post.
HUZZAH!!!
I second that “HUZZAH!!!” Hadley, thank you for expressing what all Fuzz Packers feel. If you are not a cat lover, this is not the site for you.
Right on!! There is no such thing as an ugly cat!
It’s an absolute pleasure to meet Hadley and Chester on here today.
It has been a pleasure, hasn’t it?? Thanks for joining us, Chester and Hadley—please continue to chat with us.
You should visit Kat’s Cat of the Day. It’s a site that features adult cats, past and present. We have a great group there. We would love your input. Either go to katscatoftheday.blogspot.com or look for a comment from Emma’s Kat and click on her link.
(*HADLEY*)
That comment was meant for you. ๐
Thanks, I will surely check it out.
(*CHESTER*)
You too! I commented above but didn’t know if you’d see it.
Hadley, So nice to hear that you saved two wonderful meezers and have found love with them. I am a life long cat servent, primarily to siamese cats. My husband was like you. Thought for sure he was a dog man until a sweet little bluepoint wrapped him around her tiny paw and he was lost. We still love our friends dogs, but our house is a cat only zone with a herd of 3! Keep posting!
What a gorgeous kitten, a real precious little troublemaker. Hope he’s an indoor only kitty that will be loved and treasured for many years to come…
Tyson is simply adorable, but looks like he could be a little rascal. A trouble-maker? I guess not, since he is a loving, people-person kitty. This is a great pose for such a cutie.
I agree with you Kittenmaster, everyone should just ignore rude comments. Making comments on them just makes them do it more. I know you will remove the nasty ones though, especially against these sweet little kittens that adorn your web site. Take care and God Bless Kittenmaster.
This fella looks almost liked his a stuffed toy!
Beautiful Kitty! Wish him all the best. Love the expression and markings! Sweet life, Tyson!
RE: Men who love cats…My husband adores kitties! He is in the hospital right now and has told all the nurses that he must get home to his feline friends (never mind his wife and son)!!! When the doctor told him he was allergic to cats, he decided to have the painful shots so he could continue to live with our twelve darlings!!! Prayers for Jake and Amber…
Linda, you’re husband is quite a man!
Yes, he is quite the man!!! Our last name is Tyson too, just like today’s kitty!!!
Looks a bit like my Puddy Tat! (aka “Missy Meow-Meow” and “Little Miss Pantaloons” or “CAT!!!”). Puddy doesn’t like to be held that way, if you please. Soon to be disgruntled pussycat! ๐
Kitty belly! Or as we say at our house – Cat Gut!
He’s a sweetie.
Such a rolly-polly little baby!
May God bless you and Tyson always. ๐
Look at that cute little chubby belly! ๐ awwww..
my god your showing he’s wears this kitty needs some priivicy.
that looks like my kitten screech!!!!
yx
That is a cute kitten!
